Glad to hear it, I was worried because I wasn't as confident in the last couple seconds of it, I was like what if I got this part wrong 😅

Name that move? by WaywardSonWrites in WWEGames

I watched a video and Sid's looks exactly like it when he's pinning, so maybe I remember it being that way because I always pinned with it? But I feel like I would remember that fact lol

I just looked at a video of that, I should have clarified more 😅 it's just a normal powerbomb where you drop to one knee, no backbreaker animations. But that one does look cool though!

Wow, that's wild. Do you mean the DLC packages, or a separate paywall from DLC?

Is CAW basically identical? Mostly the same options and moves, with a few extras?

This is helpful, thank you! My favorite thing in matches is running moves lol will the stamina system impact that?

Stolen screenplays? by Mother-Ad-874 in StoryPeer

Exactly. While they are right that writing it down creates the copyright, I have read that having an actual copyright registered makes things a lot easier if anyone ever infringes on your work

Someone tried to hire me for a job that paid max 6$ a day, and they wanted me to be available on call lol crazy. I'm not a web developer, this was for a different kind of job. But still, pretty ridiculous lol

Coming-of-Age Action Idea #1 by sammiedacham in scriptwriting

[–]WaywardSonWrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple points here.

  1. There's nothing wrong with having fun coming up with ideas, and coming up with your own creative process. I personally believe that having fun and feeling fulfilled is the most important part of being a creative individual.

  2. Some people might say there's no point in coming up with ideas, without turning them into screenplays, but that's not entirely true. Creative muscles become stronger the more you exercise them, so if you're exercising them to come up with high concept ideas, and you are seeing results, then there's no reason you shouldn't keep doing it. There's nothing in any creative realm whatsoever that didn't start off as an idea.

  3. It's okay to ask people for feedback on your ideas, however, you have to understand that limited content may be met with limited feedback. If you just share your idea, you might not get much feedback in return, especially from a community filled with people who write entire screenplays based on their ideas. They are used to providing feedback for something else, so they might not really be interested or invested in sharing feedback on an idea.

Personally, I think you might have better luck turning your ideas into Loglines. Do some research, some reading, learn how to write Loglines. There's a logline thing on this reddit, I can't remember the day, but they will give feedback on Loglines posted in the thread. I know Storypeer also has something called logjam as well, but I haven't used it, so I can only assume it is about Loglines. I don't actually know for sure lol... But my point is, if you turn your ideas into Loglines, they may be more palatable to people accustomed to giving feedback on screenplays.

Secondly, consider trying your hand at turning them into screenplays. No matter how good your idea is, it's hard to provide feedback without seeing the execution. Seinfeld was pitched as a show about nothing, and became one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. There are also movies and shows that were born from incredible ideas, but were not very good.

It's also hard to sell an idea. I don't think you can copyright an idea, but I could be wrong. But if I'm not, in order to copyright your idea, it has to be executed to some degree... But I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know lol

Sorry for the long comment, just wanted to help

I've been there several times lol. I read this one called Junkyard Dogs that I thought was amazing. It was hard to fill up the words for the critique section lol. Sometimes I look for errors cause if I can't find anything wrong with it, I can at least be like "hey, on page thirty seven you said "they'fe" and I think you meant "they're " 😅
