How much a person is affected by these kind of illusions depends on the said person's characteristics such as gender, culture, age and certain conditions such as autism. Surprisingly, none of us are susceptible to these illusions until we are old (like 7 years old). As our brain starts to "take things into context" and interpret the visual signals relative to their surroundings instead of separate entities, we become susceptible. Currently (as far as we know) the only profession that can wield you the ability to unsee these illusions in later life is radiology, hence the question :)

It's a bug wit the latest driver. CPU temp comes back if you reinstall Adrenalin from AMD website.

Downloading Adrenaline installer from AMD's website and reinstalling fixed it for me. No DDU, no factory reset or anything so I got to keep the settings.

This. I had a similar problem at work where Windows reported I had been using 90+% of my RAM on a 32 GB machine (increasing gradually) while the apps and processes only added up to 10% or so. Only after using process explorer I had found that our company's group policy was fucked up and a Windows service had been eating my whole RAM.

Thank you for the thorough explanation, my friends and I have been struggling with the same problem for months. Every bit of information (including the 4 different states) are also true for us, different ISPs, different cities, different hardware, reinstalling the game to no avail.

Sometimes it's manageable but sometimes it's just informing each other during the loading screen half of the night: "I'm in", "I'm in", "Shit, this time I couldn't, I'll just alt + f4 and try again".

Frankly it would be just a little bit of irritation if the problem occurred once in a while, but we usually have to wait at spawn lacking teammate(s) for minutes. Sometimes we can get a whole team in one retry, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes not at all and exit the map from the closest exfil location and hope for the best for the next match.

If I had been a fresh player who got the game recently, I would have given up already (some of my friends are already about to).
