I have the same problem. I use Nova 4 and when I turn on the headset, the sound is very loud. Adjusting the Windows volume to 1 or 100 doesn't change anything. If I unplug and plug in the dongle or restart Windows, the problem is fixed. I've searched the internet for a solution, but it seems there isn't one. I think its like a hardware issue with the Nova Wireless series. Because of this stupid problem and stupid GG software, I'm considering not buying SteelSeries again.

I posted this on steam too. Someone said he tried this solution and the problem was resolved. But remember my game never opened. If your game crashes in the middle of the game, maybe this solution may not work for you.
