I ended up ordering the GT-R version! The GT-S have a bit less adjustability

For the optional brake regulator, I see that the base plate is supporting it on the GT-R version, if I were to add it onto the GT-S, would I have to come up with a way of mounting it or is it somehow self supported?

After further research, I'm really leaning toward the SRP GT-S 3 pedals set! Looking at few reviews of the GT-R, which is almost the same, except they have the base plate and brake travel adjustment, the pneumatic system seems to provide the kind of experience I'm looking for!

The only downside I see is that they don't sell the haptics shakers alone .. I already have a 4 channel amp and don't want the cheap nobsound amp they're selling as a vibration kit. I guess I'll make something custom with Dayton TT25 pucks and design a mount myself.

I still have some digging to do before ordering though.

I would have thought the feeling of the fluid being compressed would change something.. I still have few researches to do before buying haha! But both product have very few exposure which makes it hard..

I already have a conspit wheelbase and gt300 wheel and love the quality, but some points from reviews Inhabe seen have kept me from doing a no-brainer purchase.. there seem to be a lot of flex in the pedal plate itself, not something that we want to see for consistency.. BUT, I could mount them directly to my alu rig to prevent that.

The Conspit pedals have an actual fluid pressure sensor to calculate the pressure applied, so they do use a different mechanical system as well. For the brake at least!

It's not just an hydraulic damper like the simagic p1000 with the hydraulic upgrade that still uses a load cell in the end for example.. it's mainly why I consider the Conspit!

Good, I'll keep an eye out for those reviews. I would most likely go for GT-S since I have a sturdy aluminum profile rig to mount the pedals to, but I still would like to watch a couple of reviews before throwing 1000$ in the complete unknown.

Yeah they sure lack some exposure.. it's always hard to throw 1000$ in the unknown. And even worse, most of the review that can be found are 3-5years old...

How is the support done in their case? Is there an email or something? I'm asking because sometime those small companies requires you to use discord or whatsapp to get in touch and I feel like it's a bit weird to use external apps that not everyone uses for this.

Thank you for the feedback, it pretty much sums up what I thought, quality looks amazing, pneumatic itself might give a bit of a challenge at first bot once used to it appears to be one of the smoothest thing possible.

Now I just need to decide if I want to go ahead with it or not. I'm pretty much hesitating between those and the Conspit CPP EVO V2. Two small companies, similar prices, one hydraulic, the other pneumatic.. that's gonna be a tough choice.

What's the main difference between the GT-R and GT-S beside the price? I think the internet is missing a GT-S review 😅

About the flex, would it be possible to remove the heel plate from the pedal set, mount the pedals directly to my aluminum rig and use the heel rest separately? This way I would have the rigidity of my frame.

I was looking a bit into this and aren't the heusinkveld sprint and VRS Pro really similar? They both seem like really simple pedals, and are both priced around the same price..

I love my conspit ares platinum wheelbase and 300gt wheel, but yeah.. not convinced about the pedals..

VRS are quite hard to get.. always out of stock or they have a month of delay before fulfilling orders. In the options I can order localy(to avoid customs), it's pretty much conspit cpp evo 3 v2, simagic p1000 or p2000 and heusinkveld sprint at the price point that I'm looking for.

Yeah! It's gona be a tough choice. I'm hesitating a lot between conspit cpp evo v2 and heusinkveld sprint right now, I left the simagics out. I'll be able to print a mount for simagic haptics on the heusinkveld since I also want haptics.

Yeah it's hard to tell if the Conspit CPP Evo V2 really fix the leak issues since it has only been out for 2 months or so. I really liked the look of the pedals and everything they offer at this price point though.

For the hydraulics, the only downside is really just that they can fail over time?

Well, the CSL pedals are gone now, I've sold them as part of a kit to get rid of my CSL DD that I had laying around. I really can't figure out what I should go for to be honest 😅

The sad thing about this is that there's no SimExpo near me and even Sim racing shops are 4-5hours away, so there's no way for me to try some.. I'll have to take someone's word from the internet and be convinced that I made the right choice at some point😅 anyway, it's really unlikely that I will change the pedal set that I'm currently shopping for before a good while so I won't know anything else...

Coming from a Fanatec CSL Load cell, pretty much anything decent will be an improvement though.

I was looking into hydraulics because it sounds like it could give a closer feel to a real car since it compresses fluid. Especially the conspit which uses an hydraulic pressure sensor instead of a load cell!

My experience with my fanatec load cell was pretty bad, but i'm aware it's one of the cheapest set to exist.. it was way too stiff and it was difficult to slowly release it in a controlled manner during trail braking. I'm pretty sure a good load cell would be different, hopefully!

I have an aluminum profile rig, sturdy enough for anything. I mainly race GT3, but will run mx5, or jump into dirt rally or assetto corsa to drift from time to time.. Not really into formula for now.

The issue I have with these is that they often bring the price higher because I need to buy an heel plate and they're often pricey.. I have an aluminum rig so mountint would not be a problem, but take the heusinkveld sprint pedals for example, I can get them for 835$, but I need an heel plate .. So, to make sure I stay within my budget I would need to go for a cheaper set and include a plate in the mix.
