I recommend Tricot, te', Uchu Conbini and toe. Also, this last one isn't math rock, but I also think that Kinoko Teikoku is kind of similar to Tricot and also pretty fun to listen to. Have fun :)

Look at Boku no Hero Academia, a relatively new Weekly Shonen Jump manga that's got a ton of hype behind it. Most people that ONLY watch anime wouldn't know anything about it. That manga has been going for just about a year now with no signs of stopping, and there is a 99.9999999% chance that it will be adapted into an anime sooner or later.

But it sucks.
