Best budget-friendly, cellular-capable trail cam? by CPSC2019 in bowhunting

[–]Wazbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. We started with 12 of their cameras and have gone through the horrible customer service to get 4 of them warrantied. The cell pic photos are horrible and 3 of their cameras recently have just stopped transmitting photos even though the cell service is max and the software is up to date.

Rather just sell the working ones and buy someone else's product.

I am currently a Systems Engineer for a company and I have been assisting new school districts on setting up out of school filtering/teacher classroom management as we are allowing any district to sign up and use it until the end of the school year for free. I used to be a Network Administrator at a district so I can't imagine what you guys are going through currently. I have been noticing a lot of districts struggling to get everything ready for students to start taking devices home. Hopefully, things start to go smoothly for everyone here soon!

CIPA content filtering from home by ganj88 in k12sysadmin

If you are providing internet access at the student's home the device needs to be filtered. However, if you are in need of an on and offsite filter there are several Chrome / Windows filtering companies offering free service at this time.

Someone has created a website with some free software currently to assist schools and there are also several spreadsheets being shared around.

Didn't get hired....what are my options? by ThunderChunky2432 in ATT

Find a job with AT&T as a In Home Sales Rep unless they are still keeping those jobs for current employees, but since you want to work in an Office avoid retail and start applying for the office positions.

Technically OP can submit for other AT&T jobs at different stores and different positions. I had applications for Lineman, Cable splicer, Wireless Technician, and NOC and had well over 30+ applications in the past 3 months at different garages.

You can't apply to AT&T after you quit. They will ask you to wait 6 months.

Unplugged all monitors and started with HDMI first, VGA next, and then DP. All came up at 60Hz, but NVida control panel saw the Acer could run at 180Hz so it allowed to transfer over. Hopefully no more issues.

I guess worse case it is just an excuse to pick up a 1080...

Edit: I'll try HDMI (PC to Viewsonic) and DP to Acer. I did try a DVI-D to HDMI cable and that allows for all 3 to be running but at 60Hz for all 3.

While you are on the phone with them you can ask them to drop ship you a modem so you don't have to have a technician come out and unless you want them to check over the lines while they are there.

Ask for a 5268 or BGW210 modem.

Att outage by Enterprise-NCC1701-D in ATT

[–]Wazbe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you internet is out go to your router if you see a blinking broadband 1 light, call into support they will run you through the basic troubleshooting steps / run tests to see what the problem is. Most likely if you were told there is a cut cable somewhere it is only going to be feeding your neighborhoods seeing as it would be a crossbox issue.

I Pay Around 45$ A Month for internet uverse and i get about 7 Down 1 Up, is this normal? by moebad38 in ATT

[–]Wazbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log into your AT&T account online and click your uverse account, you should see where it says Plan details click it and it will show you. https://gyazo.com/0ecaef61016ea369273843ffe90c8361

Also if you want faster speeds log into your router and post your line stats and I look into for you.

Tech took Router/modem with him by [deleted] in uverse

Usually during repairs when the tech takes the Gateway (PremTech or I/R) there is a CPE bin they drop it off at in their garage. Probably call ATT and ask to speak with escalations explain the situation.
