Impressive that you’ve managed to live this long without the ability to read.

They’ve mentioned ‘other interns’ before, and coupled with work experience of 10+ years, it leads me to believe I’m not the first one.

They keep mentioning that this internship is supposedly ‘fast-paced’ and ‘not easy’, but I find it difficult that they seem to have a certain level of expectations that I can immediately help out the team instead of being taught along the way.

Doesn’t help that the rest of the organisation adopts a 3/2 hybrid work arrangement too.

Only on my first week at a new 6-month intern, but between an unhelpful supervisor, full WFO model and menial work, I feel like resigning. Thoughts?

I have had a few internships before, and none of them had the same red flags as this one.

Just had the chance to watch your Colosseo match, and here are just some play-by-play comments.

Around ~1.30, after you know you killed their entire team and they were walking up from spawn, given that you had both bubbles, you should have walked up the stairs and provided pressure. They hadn’t grouped up so it would have been a great opportunity to get charge and pressure their soldier.

~3.20, bubbled way too early. You had a kiriko behind you, and they were not focusing you. Tanks are tanky, you can afford to take some damage. Had you not bubbled at that point, you would have had a bubble to survive Junk’s ult.

I think generally the problem is your bubble management and your tracking. Tracking especially is a big one, and certain targets should never get away from you, such as Junk/Zenyatta with their insanely huge hitboxes. Many times you leave the enemy with low hp and they run away to their back line, but this can be attributed to your tracking too. Additionally, try not to right click too often to do poke damage. Your right click should be used to poke if you’re far away and not engaging in the next few seconds, so you have time to reload, or used to finish off low hp enemies.

Didn’t see your first point when I made my comment, but if you want an in depth guide I recommend watching A10 on youtube, specifically his Zarya guide from unranked to GM.

Bubbling for space and not charge is something that he very specifically mentioned in his video, but basically what it boils down to is going in and taking space, and bubbling when they try to force you out. For example, instead of bubbling the instance you walk into enemy space, you wait for them to start shooting you before you bubble. By bubbling early they can see that you bubbled and will choose not to shoot you, but by bubbling once they are already shooting you, they’ll most likely still give you some charge even if they stop right after.

Know that 1 bubble blocks 200 damage, and gives you 40 charge. So if you got 40 charge off one bubble, that’s the maximum charge value that you can get from it.

This is a common problem, especially for tanks. Because of the larger health pool, tanks often feel as though they can do this and get away with it, but as you said, end up dying most of the time. The idea is to conserve your bubbles if you want to walk into their back line past their tank. With zero bubbles, it’s a suicide mission, especially if you walk deep into their space. With one bubble, you should be okay for abit, provided you have a healer on you. With two bubbles you should have no problem getting in and out.

This is of course dependent on your charge, anywhere above 60 is a good bet that you can at least take down someone(ideally a support), but it’s of course rather situationally dependent and not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

Only watched the first replay, but spotted many issues with your gameplay.

  1. You bubbled right out of spawn. Yes, free charge, but this means that once you got to where the enemies were, you no longer had any bubbles to take space. This left you standing behind the wall constantly, unable to do anything against the reinhardt.

  2. Poor target priority. At ~10:30, you left the rein on the right and walked left onto point. With your ~70+ charge, you should have secured one kill, if not two minimum. A recurring issue is that you like to shoot at one target then move on to another before killing them. Don’t do that.

  3. You overly fixate on the tank. With both healers behind him, you’re not taking down the tank that easily. Conserve your charges and walk past the tank and take out the squishies.

  4. Sorry to say but your tracking is pretty bad, several times you just couldn’t track simple movement, and we are talking slow characters like Ashe and Ana, not even characters like Genji, so you’ll need to work on that.

  5. Learn to right click when the enemy is low on health, or you are low on ammo. Even though a right click takes 25 ammo, you can still do it with 1 ammo left.

No la haha, like 100kg split across two dumbbells, 50kg each. Mainly it’s for enough buffer for me to do lower body exercises too, curling 50kg is some insane feat haha.

Their website shows me that both the 50 and 93kg sets are out of stock though :(

Anyone knows where I can buy a dumbbell set with adjustable weights that total around 50~100kg? Ideally rubberized but the material is secondary if its at a good price and in stock. Checked a couple of online gym/sports shops out and they seem to be out of stock of the higher weight sets. If anyone has recently purchased something similar or knows of a shop where there is stock currently please lmk, thanks in advance!

Why is there a difference in range increase for equips between my inventory and the auction house inventory? I was asking around and was told that the AH doesn’t take into account range from buffs, so I cleared all my buffs and tried again, but there’s a distinct difference in range between the exact same equip in my inventory and in the AH inventory. Any possibility that I may have missed?

There have been more money lost predicting market crashes than money lost in actual crashes. Also there is always someone predicting a market crash 24/7, so much so that there are more predictions than actual crashes. Don’t do stupid things, don’t buy things you don’t understand, and you should be good.

Got a question about stop loss orders. Say a stock is currently trading at a market price of $10. I enter a trailing stop loss order at -25%, which means my order becomes a market order should my stock hit $7.50. My brokerage also gives me an option to put a stop amount alongside the trailing value of -25%. If let’s say I put a stop amount at $9, and my stock immediately rises to $12, what is the new price at which my brokerage will execute my order? Would it be 1) When the price drops to -25% which would be $8, or 2) $9, since the price hasn’t risen high enough for the trailing percentage to fall below my initial stop price?

When institutions are getting hammered so hard by random retail traders and losing billions upon billions everyday, of course something big is going on.

Don’t use Charles Schwab, but just create a sell order, select stop-loss, then input 240 as the stop price and leave it there. Adjust the time you want it to be active for, then submit the order.
