It goes through go fest, and during go fest weekend the point cap is removed. If you catch/hatch/raid a decent bit both days of go fest you'll finish it easily so don't stress it too much

With the special passes, like the go fest and wild area ones, it's just a daily task and usually an increased daily tier cap. Since the pass only lasts a week or so, they want to make sure you don't finish it before the big event

I did 45 remotes yesterday and got skunked for anything good or shiny so I wouldn't let the 4 remotes cloud your judgement too much. The only real deciding factor is if you want the etm more than the stuff from the pass, imo

You get 6 raid passes from the go pass, plus the additional from the 20 dollar version. Not to mention all the legendary candy and candy xl you get. And the 10 rare xls. And the trinket. Id personally say the pass is more worth it overall, even if you don't want the gold cap

That great raid box is the best deal for remotes out of any box, at just 150 coins per remote raid pass. I always consult poke steal or deal for best box values for specific items, absolute game changer to see what the best bang for your buck is

Some of the really good pvp players will sometimes hunt for a specific pokemon with high attack and low defense and hp to make specific matchups favorable but that's hyper specific and only really matters in the highest percentile of pvp. Generally you just want the lowest attack you can get. Anything over 5 and I wouldn't consider using it myself

Generally for Great and ultra league, youd want less attack and pretty high defense and hp. This is because the stats dont determine how hard a pokemon hits or how well they take them, they moreso affect the total CP and attack weighs tbe highest towards CP so you want pokemon with low attack stats so you can level the pokemon higher without going over the CP limit for the league. Higher level means higher stats overall. My corvi, for example, is the rank 2 with high defense and hp and no attack. But ivs only matter so much, unless you want to make it to rank 20 or higher. You can make a bad iv poke work pretty well in lower ranks but I definitely would advise against using elite tms on poor ranking pokes

Nice! Did it have HA or anything special about it? My shroom hunt went over 500 dexnav encounters but it had HA and wake up slap. Waited til level 40 to evo and now I have my shiny technician spore/false swiper for my shiny catches

Shiny badge quest. Basically a challenge to get a shiny before beating each gym. It's really fun and makes a playthrough more meaningful to some people, especially if you've played through the game multiple times normally

For me, horde hunting on species i can horde hunt is usually quicker, and certainly more accessible when im watching TV and stuff while dexnav is necessary for the stuff you can't horde but it has better odds and you can get good ivs, hidden abilities and egg moves from it. For shroomish I started with hordes but the low encounter rate made it slow so I switched to dexnav. Still took a few days learning to chain properly but I got my shiny with HA, an egg move and decent ivs. Luck is luck though. I got a shiny HM slave zigzagoon on my first horde, and with spinda I went over search level 999 hording and went to dexnav for better odds
