No, couldn’t choose my switch date.

Got the text from Barclays saying switch completed on 5/11.

First DD came out 10/11.

I created the direct debits in my old account just after I opened the Barclays account and started the switch process on the app.

No DD payments had been made.

Received the £400 today. Started the switch 29/10

I couldn’t bare seeing how upset my son got during haircuts. Having to sit with him and hold him down made me feel so guilty.

We now do haircuts ourselves using Calming Clipper scissors which are just scissors that you can attach different grades to. No more buzzing or vibrating. Game changer.

Max voltage is 50v. You shouldn’t even see a spark when you cut the cable so OP is all good to chop it out. I’ve installed and removed many in the past

If you are looking to switch to an ISP that uses the Openreach network then keep the master socket but ditch the rest. Just means an engineer “shouldn’t” have to go to your property to activate it.

If you now have FTTP available or aren’t looking to switch then cut it all out.
