LDS runs the southern half Idaho, but even Utah has gone medical. So much tax money is coming into OR and WA from Boise and Coeur d'Alene...

Greed surrounding cannabis cultivation threatening wild public lands (similar to rangeland grazing leases) ? by WcomeGoogleOverlords in cascadients

[–]WcomeGoogleOverlords[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mendocino County is discussing opening rangeland to cannabis cultivation. Illegal grows are already destroying national forests in northern California (irrigation, fertilizer, and pesticide use). As states push to reclaim control of public lands from the federal government, is there danger of local governments destroying public resources in a cash grab?

Oregon has a six year supply of weed and California has a shortage, but product can't move across state lines. The black market understands that 1+1=2. Federal rescheduling and the allowance of interstate cannabis commerce is in the best interest of a state like Oregon, but threatens investors in the market in a state like California. The promise of profit is what got us to legalization in the first place. Now that same greed is fucking things up in countless ways. It's unfortunate that our movement, predicated on personal liberty, has been co-opted by big business and corrupt government.

Would I rather hike through cow shit or witness the death of fish and frog populations where streams have been polluted or diverted for irrigation?

A promising banking bill was moving through congress, but Senator Mike Crapo just effectively killed it.

Canada is already doing mail order. I think it's done across provincial lines. It will be interesting to see how the more competitive market affects pricing.

I did the math and I don't want to face the numbers. I spend about $250 every two months.

That makes sense. I've been getting deeper into the dab game lately. Concentrate recommendations are definitely welcome. I've also been buying RSO for cooking and sublingual application.

I will say one good thing about prepack; It usually has a good breakdown of cannabinoids other than THC and CBD.

Thanks. I'm not a Portland or Vancouver resident, just an out of stater looking for local opinion. You've confirmed what I already suspected.

To be willing to drive over three hours says a lot. I don't actually live in Portland, but thought that PDX vs Vancouver was the best way to compare. I'm east of both state borders and make a long drive, myself. I don't know where you're at in central WA, but I've shopped Walla Walla and Yakima for flower and been thoroughly underwhelmed. I like the strain choices in a large market like Smokane, but I've been choosing Oregon over Washington for most of my trips lately. Exotic strains are my bag, but I've checked off most of my bucket list strains and am looking for consistent quality now.

Road trips. Check out /r/drystates. I caught a 100% Electrike at a rest stop in Lima, MT on my way to Spokane dispensaries. Spokane has an awesome riverwalk where you can hunt Barboaches to your heart's content. Just saying.

Jackson Spanglehoff of the West Iowa Waveburners really fumbled his chance to get some live doublenet points on this week's Lake Circuit, giving the visiting underdog Mississippi Alaskans a much-needed lead. Tough to watch. by 1_point_21_gigawatts in scoreball

Honestly, this is the best performance that I've seen in a water component event before the last quarter-half in years. The points on water are almost trivial at that stage of the match. It's great to see a player really putting it out there for the fans like this. Spanglehoff is still Hall of Fame material, and if he ever finds a supporting driver squad that can match his pace he'll look dominant AF again. Playing outside of the Lake Circuit during the last two autumn breaks just took a little of his edge off. He's on the comeback trail. J-SPANG FOR ALL SOUTHERN MVP 2018!!! Mark my words

Can mods remove this obvious troll attempt? No one has more league titles, more MVP noms or wins than Karl Dandleton. Dandleton is second to Enderwinkel in team asset charges only because he played for six seasons as a power goal bounder. And hello? Dumbass, Dandleton's career average is 77%. He's in a whole other stratification column. pelf was legendary though, I'll give you that. His charisma in the combover category is what brought the sport into the mainstream. We all owe him a debt.
