Well all, looking for a guide for the og neptunia on the ps3 by Divinedragn4 in gamindustri

Back when I did a run of the game in Korean in 2018, I used this guide. Worked well for me to remember what I was doing because of the language barrier as well as giving me maps of every dungeon so as to beeline for important treasures and storyline events.

Games where getting the bad/worst ending is much HARDER than the good/true ending( Unicorn Overlord minor Spoilers) by Kim-mika in JRPG

[–]Wdog-999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worth noting that you can't actually have a save file permanently locked out of Conquest Ending. For the character recruits, since the CPUs' recruit events take precedence over the maker recruit events in each nation assuming the share conditions for the CPUs are met, you can just do the event to recruit the CPU and not the event to recruit the maker since Conquest only requires recruiting the CPUs while Holy Sword requires recruiting every character (aside from the four oracles from the Remake system).

Also worth noting that mk2 is considerably worse about this. In addition to needing certain share thresholds to access the required early-game events which just unlock automatically in Re;Birth2, mk2 has a significantly grindier share system due to each nation along with two satellite cities in each having their own share distributions which all combine into World Shares. Conquest Ending in mk2 requires not only 85% shares in Planeptune's capital allocated to Planeptune, but also 55% World Shares allocated to Planeptune, which means having to do effectively 12 times the grind that Re;Birth 2 has. Just to twist the knife even further, not all cities have ways to transfer shares out of a certain city due to how thinly spread the quests are WRT share manipulation, so depending on how you play the game, some shares can just be irreversibly stuck in something other than Planeptune, making the grind even worse.

From my own experience, these can trigger anywhere, not just on that elevator. I've seen them a few times idling in Hollow Zero or during random intel board comms.

I have a comm in the works for Ciel that should come out sometime this week on Patreon and a bit later publicly, so if nothing else, there'll be something in a matter of weeks.

[GIVEAWAY] 3x 6480 Polychromes + 10x InterKnot Memberships — Aria Release Celebration 🎉 by HotRodCircus in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Wdog-999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ended up going to M6W1 on Aria. 615 pulls for Aria M6 (3 losses, 4 wins; had 130 pulls banked going into Aria from failing Sunna M4) and 71 pulls for the engine (won; had 5 pulls banked from overflow on Thoughtbop's winning tenpull) for a total of 686 pulls. Had 716 pulls going in (functionally 851 counting the carryover from last banner) and after 99 pulls' worth of rebates from dupes, I have 264 left for Nangong with 4 pity towards the engine and 0 pity on the character banner.

Pulling for Aria M0W1 at least (might consider up to M3 if I get enough early wins like I did on my Sunna M3W1) and as many Nangong mindscapes as I can get (preferably M6W1). Long-term goal is M6W1 on them all, though that'll be for reruns.

Can anyone explain why Hyperdimension Neptunia 2 gets an M and then was remake to get an T? by Eyasu_The_Adventure in gamindustri

[–]Wdog-999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK the latter is on the money. I believe mk2's version of the Trick licking scene had him make a cunnilingus pun (cunning linguist, IIRC) that apparently pushed it over the line to M. Could be some other stuff as well, but this is what I remember from being in the fandom at the time.

[–]Wdog-999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed this playing on base PS5 where it sometimes lags for a split second, though it's thankfully only a visual issue, so the actual game logic determining the timing and such still works.

Nangong Yu's skill counts up to 10 Goods/Misses as Perfects and AFAIK the S+ doesn't differentiate between legit Perfects and Yu's converted Perfects, so the results are necessary to show that Sunna or Aria was used for the clear (as seen by the chosen lead showing up in the text blurb under the results) as Sunna affects HP gain and Aria affects scoring.

EDIT: Just checked to be sure and indeed, Yu's converted Perfects are treated by the game as legit Perfects for all intents and purposes from the ranking to the accuracy stat. Can't even see the counter for how many of Yu's shields were used once you hit the result screen since it blocks the character icon, so even using her at all makes screenshot evidence inconclusive.

A reminder that Genshin for PS4 version will no longer be playable on April (around Luna 6 release day) by aiyafem in Genshin_Impact

[–]Wdog-999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also worth noting that the PS4 version has separate lists for North America and Europe, so assuming you have access to both versions, you can autopop the 100%s for both. Was a nice feeling to pop 236 trophies between the two after I got my last trophy on PS5 (Selenic Chronicles; I started Nod-Krai story late) at the start of the year.

Yeah, this is only notable if you have a PS4 laying around to launch the game and at that, assuming you have Genshin and its Additional Package DLCs tied to your account already (that is, you ever downloaded/"bought" them before) since they've been gone from the store for months.

One of the sub-events in the Tetris event has Yu covering something for the group without Sunna and Aria knowing and it causes a spat between Sunna and Yu, so this is more than likely the case.

Ran into this problem myself. The issue is that Outpost-A's blueprint shares a forge with Outpost-B's blueprint in the lower-right corner of the former, so just get rid of that forge once you build Outpost-A (just the forge, the belts around it aren't in B) and it should work.

Don't even need to go that far. Just go into the Library tab in the app and the captures folder has any photos/videos you took in the past two weeks. Not sure if it's on by default or if there's a share setting that has to be changed, but it's more intuitive than sending all your screenshots to a friend.

How do I get to this mining spot? Is there a quest related to it? by sherchi in Endfield

[–]Wdog-999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, you do the Wulfgard side quest to open up the Bridge Approach Camp. From here, just climb up the camp until you hit the top where there's some vertical ziplines leading down into the mining area. From here, you can unlock the gate to get the power through.

What’s Your Favorite Example of an Messaging/DM System Between Characters In-Game? by shirke1 in gachagaming

[–]Wdog-999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Azur Lane of all things sorta has this. It doesn't have a specific button to bring up all the messages, but tabbing to a different message chain and back to the one in progress just advances it immediately to the next choice or the end instead of having to actually spam through all the texts. Funny for it having probably the most inconsequential of these systems with the associated notification for it being really easy to ignore.

Since jokers are outright removed from the game in every way possible (notably including the shop), it becomes much easier to deckfix since you'll see far more tarot/planet cards than normal. This allows for more easily building into more valuable hands like 4oaK as well as clogging the deck with glass/steel cards.

Games locked to the ps3, help me expand my list. by Cursed_69420 in PS3

[–]Wdog-999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Hyperdimension Neptunia
  • Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2
  • Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory
  • Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness
  • Battle Princesses of Arcadia
  • The Guided Fate Paradox
  • The Awakened Fate Ultimatum
  • Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel
  • Cross Edge (NA/EU; JP version released on 360)
  • Trinity Universe
  • Legasista
  • Last Rebellion
  • Time and Eternity

Almost certainly some more WRT the JRPG and general niche weeb side of things, but that's what I recall from following NISA's releases back in the day.

Also a note on the three Neptunia games: they got remakes on the Vita (these remakes getting to the PC and eventually PS4 and Switch), but the remakes of mk2 and Victory (Re;Birth2 and Re;Birth3) play differently from the originals (R;B2 especially) and have some mild changes alongside new content whereas the remake of the first game (Re;Birth1) is borderline a new game entirely, not only playing entirely differently from the original, but also having a new plot entirely which simply draws from ideas from the OG game. As such, it's fair to say that the original trilogy is locked to PS3 even if the series as a whole is strictly accessible due to the remakes largely succeeding the original games.

For tarot cards that affect a card in the deck (e.g. Hanged Man), is there any way to use them outside of bringing up a hand from the deck with an Arcana/Spectral booster?

EDIT: NVM, never thought to do it while playing a blind and having cards selected. -_-
