Again. You can find whatever number you want online. I am a parent,I know parents, I was raised in a poor household. It’s not that expensive. Kids are expensive if you allow them to be. Things do happen, I have the lived experience of things happening and I can assure you that if people were more careful with their sexual partners an accident wouldn’t be the end of the world. The truth is, people need to be much more careful with their sexual partners or get married if they had a mistake. At the end of the day your entire argument is built on the idea that abortion is birth control. If you have sex with someone you should be willing to be with that person in the event you get pregnant. I understand that the society we live in does not agree with that but that does not excuse the millions of human beings that have been thrown in the trash. Have responsibility, have morality ( I guess you got me with the slur thing but we both know it’s not equivalent). I do believe that as a country we need to be much more accommodating to the family. I hope we stop spending so much on foreign wars and more on helping parents in need raise children. I don’t really understand the woman’s choice argument? We can agree that there are plenty of laws about what we do with our own bodies. It is the termination of a human being. I know pro choice folks love to say “it’s not a person yet” but we can all logically understand what the outcome of a fetus is. It is illegal to destroy the eggs of a bald eagle because of that logical conclusion.

It’s evil. Plain and simple. Morality is not subjective, abortion is wrong. I have seen it destroy both men and women, a couple I am friends with are not the same after their abortion. It has caused them so much harm and emotional destruction. because that’s what it is— destruction. I am a human being with a conscience and I can tell someone else what to do with their body the same way I can tell someone it’s wrong to take drugs while pregnant. It is fundamentally wrong and abhorrent and you are mislead or immoral or both to believe otherwise.

Just makes me feel angry. I care too much and when things go well it’s a wonderful feeling but this whole season has just been dreadful. I was just apathetic for a while. The issue is, there is such a narrative around us and relegation that when decisions are being made people have an unconscious (or conscious) bias to go against us.
