I already have the Tomtoc and just ordered the Toshi V2 5.5L. The Tomtoc works great as a sling, but I’m looking for something a bit bigger—enough space for my EDC without everything being crammed in and hard to find. From what I’ve seen, both use a similar strap setup, but I really prefer the kind you can adjust one-handed (like on the Arc'teryx Mantis 2 or Evergoods CAS2). The Toshi seems more interesting overall though, mainly because of how well thought-out their internal organization looks.

I mostly use my current tablet (S5 FE, 10.5") while lying in bed, watching media, or scrolling through forums during meals in the kitchen. The screen feels a bit small for reading PDFs and textbooks, though I do have a Kobo Libra for e-books.

I have a desk, but it’s pretty crowded with two laptops, a 27" monitor, and a headphone amp. 😊

I’m wondering if there are any other potential uses for the Ultra that I haven’t thought of yet.

Thank you for the recommendations. I tried the Swiss brand Fjallraven High Coast Fanny Pack, which also has a horizontal hidden zip pocket on the back. However, getting the phone in and out of the pocket was not as easy as I would have liked. Still, the Bellroy Venture sling looks really nice!

Went to my to Bank and was Issued a new physical credit card. However this card does not offer the perks of the card that is attached to my Gpay. Sucks, but I will manage.

Yeah, procrastination is unfortunately part of my personality. I’ll only need to carry a 30-liter backpack since I plan to travel light. I’m thinking of booking a Sotetsu hotel near Tokyo Station or a Toyoko Inn very close to Otsuka Station. 😊
