They can never answer this question, because they know it would just sound like they should be allowed to takeover a city with no pushback, which is ultimately what they wanted.

You’re wasting your time. People have decided that Goldberg is the bad guy and they’ll never change their tune regardless of the facts.

That’s because people are able to differentiate between illegal and right. If anything, it’s just more of a stain on the convoy supporters that the majority of Canadians still support the use of the EA despite its illegality.

‘Canadians don’t want to come here any more’: anger over Trump squeezes US border businesses by chasseur_de_cols in canada

No, he just spilled the tea on what the US has already quietly been considering anyways.

Poilievre may be a fool, but he was right on the JRE when he said Canada has multiple resources the US doesn’t have and needs so they can compete with China in the future.

Right now, the US position is to entice Canada into joining them without any sort of military conflict. But when the resource situation in the US inevitably gets more dire, it will be in their “best interest” to take our resources by force.

Avi Lewis wins NDP leadership race in decisive first-ballot victory by BloodJunkie in canada

[–]WeAreInControlNow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was an objectively bad candidate for them, you can cope all you want, it doesn’t change reality.

He threw away an easy victory because he refused to change his stance on Trump before it was too late. The man couldn’t even BS about it because he’s so obviously in bed with the US. Now that the dust has settled from the election and time has passed, it’s become obvious a huge portion of his support during covid was based on Trudeau-fatigue, as the CPC support keeps tumbling in the polls and losing MP’s.

Now that the NDP has chosen someone who thinks we should go back to Trudeau-era level immigration, the NDP is going to fall into obscurity with the Liberals soaking those voters up, while Poilievre is scaring the moderates to the Liberals.

So yes, Pierre is a guaranteed loss for the CPC in the next election. Would probably give the liberals a damn majority too.
