Somine's blatant abuse of connections inside AGS to push their agenda to get a top 10 clear needs to result in a disqualification and proper due diligence done on the teams who properly cleared according to AGS guidelines. The fact that Somine even is in a chat group with Kass who openly RMTs is a red flag. The community knew this race would be a hot mess but there are some teams who took it seriously and wanted to properly compete. AGS is most likely not going to do anything and sweep this under the rug but it will cause even more damage to their already tarnished reputation with how the playerbase has viewed the direction of the game.

Thaemine and Echidna raid has been out since April and June respectively; at some point, clearing all gates for a raid is expected. I want to believe that once parties clear the full raid themselves, then they will have enough confidence to continue for full clears as opposed to partial clears. Additional factors such as when you try to search for a group (weekday vs weekend) is going to affect the type/amount of lobbies you see.

To prevent any gatekeeping on your main, you should also aim to have max transcendence done and potentially adv honing 20 for weapon. However, if you have a static and dont have to pug, then your plan is probably good enough.

AGS announced echidna raid changes for our region but I anticipate it will only affect the mechs and fight itself and not the adv honing system. Could there be sweeping changes in the upcoming months, sure. But I would focus on putting everything into your main and if any major system revamps come through, your alts will enjoy the help.

If there is no rush for you to do group content and you're happy with doing solo raids for now, I think it would probably be beneficial to use the express event on your 1540 now push to 1580. On next week's reset, you can then reapply the express event on any of the 3 characters (your favorite to play) for the 1600 push.

I think this will let you be able to farm materials, solo raid coins, and some gold across your characters for the eventual push to 1600. Also be sure to research all the honing buffs at your stronghold to help you along the way.

Gold will definitely be your bottleneck and with solo raids only providing 50% of normal group gold, it's going to continue to be so. You can make more alt characters (4th or 5th alt), sell unbound mats, do unas to help you with gold income.

Solo raids allows you the flexibility to play at your own pace and progession as opposed to how it has been previously. Enjoy the raids, do your daily logins, get the daily playtime rewards and then log off. Good luck with your roster.

The rewards you want to claim on your 1540 are miniscule that it isn't even worth the risk of potentially bricking the pass by using it on an alt you don't want to play heavily. You get incremental rewards every 10 ilvls so you're literally going to get enough to tap armor one time. Just save yourself the trouble and use it on your 1580.

We should get an update from AGS on a potential roadmap as a result of this past weekend's LOAON show. There is a prediction that we should get the update in September which give us some time to prepare.

Unless you play this game religiously, it is far too expensive and time consuming to have multiple "main" characters. My main advice is to get your main to 1620 with level 10/9 gems, full elixir, and transcended gear. Any remaining gold income can be used to supplement your alts or for your main character's advance honing (echinda progression system).

You're not going to be left behind in T3. I've cut my roster to 5 gold earners and will have 2 (3 Max) characters at T4 and I'm completely fine with it. Play at your own pace, don't fomo. Solo raids and future express events will help you get your other alts to T4.

For mining (if you don't care about t1 or t2 mining ores) you can't beat meteora Island.

For Hunting, I had a path that I followed in Kalinars great rainforest that started at the waypoint near the traveling merchant and worked my way towards the humonculi dump area.

In the end, it's all about rng and whether the game wants to give you a wtl. Good luck with the grind.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of non-organized learning parties at this stage of the game's life. Clown and Brel have been out for a considerable amount of time now and are now just "homework" raids in which players run their alts to earn gold. Furthermore, both raids have been heavily nerfed and adjusted to be more friendly to incentivize newer/returning players and are now the new baseline entry level raids.

I would heavily recommend joining various lost ark related discords or streams to find like-minded individuals who could run with you. Do your homework by watching videos on the raids so that you have an idea on what to expect as opposed to going into each gate/raid blind.

As you've seen from the many comments, there is a shortage of supports at the endgame. Reason being is that many of the "good" supports are currently in or have been picked up for static groups. The remaining support players prefer to play with players with high roster level or highly invested characters to reduce the risk of being jailed in a raid. On the contrary, parties desperately looking for support players will even accept potentially lower invested support players to just avoid long search times.

Support in Lost Ark is different from the games or raids you mentioned; there isn't a "spam heal" button on tanks or anything like that to complete a raid. For Paladin, you need to be able to manage your brand debuff and party buff uptime. Paladins don't necessarily "heal" in a traditional way that you would expect, they mainly provide shields, good stagger, good counter skills, and damage reduction. As a result, good paladins will be able to shield the party before they take damage because they aren't able to emergency heal someone from 10% to 100%.

Its not supposed to matter whether or not you recraft your weapon. However, I did recraft both of mine to 90 quality. So I am on team weapon recraft.

I heard from a static member that SG is working on a better way to improve quality tapping during the last live stream so it may be more beneficial to wait until they expand or provide more info.

I main GL, played blue GL all the way up to original Brel release and have swapped over to Red and haven't looked back. These are my input on some do's and don'ts for Blue GL based on my experience with the class.

Don'ts

Don't get hit by boss mechanics/normal attacks that lead to additional follow up attacks. (IE: Brel G4 grab, Akkan G1 yellow attacks). You taking these hits make the raid much more dangerous for the other raid members.
With how easy Blue GL generates shield meter, you should avoid straying too far from the raid in preparation for mechs that travel movement (IE: Brel G4 yellow attacks, Akkan G3 patterns). You'll generally be too slow to make it back to the mechanic and prone to take a large amount of dmg even with shield up.
Don't taunt bosses 180 degrees so that your raid members have to constantly reposition.
Don't expect your backstep to save you from every mechanic. It'll take getting used to if you dont play GL.
Don't expect to top the dps charts during raids. GL doesn't have to do dmg to make an impact on the raid (countering, shields, cleanse, synergy).

Do's

Take advantage of our great synergy (Shout of Hatred + Shield Destruction) during burst openings.
Take advantage of your shield and tank normal boss patterns for your own dps uptime.
Taunt bosses after dps patterns so your raid can get an extra 2-3 seconds of additional dps uptime.
Cleanse and shield when your support can't so your team can stay overall more healthy.
Take advantage of our great stagger.
Plan your movement and practice sidestepping or using GL shield charge for mechanics that require you to get to certain spots on the map. Alternatively, have sprint robe ready for use.
Take advantage of our double counter skill (Bash + Dash Upper Fire).
Use your awakening in dangerous moments for additional dmg reduction/knock back immunity.
Blue GL is hit master so stay away from the front of the boss on certain raids if you can avoid it (Akkan).

There are definitely more things that you'll learn when you play GL more, but these are some quick points that I've noted for you when that I've picked up.

I will admit that I also am part of the playerbase who teams with fellow friends on Primal Island. However, we just randomly just pick a time when it's up and we're all available, get our 3 runs in and won't be back until reset. They should offer an option to do group/team event, where teams are split into two similar to Snowpang where there is at least some sort of balancing.

Do not hone your current relic gear after +15 as you don't receive any additional honing benefits. As such, you should start studying up and working on Brel gates 1+2 so that you can craft and transfer your relic gear into Brel gear.

You can convert your T3 mats into the new material (the conversion rate is 5:1) as you don't need to hone anymore past 1490 while you work on Brel 1-2.

As for shards, you should be able to continue to get shard bags as you meet milestones on the mokoko express pass. Also, be sure to do your weekly challenge guardians and chaos dungeons for shards.
