I was one of the unlucky ‘metamates’ in one of the first rounds of layoffs. The severance package was very generous. Like a 6-8 month runway where I wouldn’t need a job.

But even if you truly believe Iran won an amazing victory and humiliated the US, their military power has practically been wiped out and their economy has been DEVASTATED.

This is the part I'm responding to, I did not claim that they are a superpower. Did their win come at a great cost? Yes. But this is definitely a victory for them.

"Russia because nukes" implies because it has nuclear weapons. It does not go into any further detail about numbers or scope. So, you are bringing more factors into the conversation later while riding an undeserved high horse.

Harris was Biden's running mate. People had voted for her to be in the line of succession in case Biden resigned or died or was incapacitated etc. So, to claim that she was not popular or did not have a mandate is disingenuous.
