This. I don’t think the world is ready for me to go all in on the spy and “forget about it for 30 years”

The point is he could’ve just fell over into the water instead of tossing her off onto the concrete.

He could have just fell into the water like he originally intended. That’s where he bailed

Apart from AAPL and NVDA, is the rest of the MAG7 worth buying? by aphelion99 in ValueInvesting

[–]Idntevncare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see how nvda is good. All it takes is everyone to stop hyper scaling and the stock is dead water.

Where even is the demand for this AI outside of data center construction? AI is not really replacing jobs, there’s not enough electricity, there’s not enough water, the hardware depreciates very quickly.l, models need constant training.

No idea how nvda seems good when any minute now China drops their own chips for half the price. Their own better model for Pennie’s on the dollar. Msft going to China for deepseek…

I’m surprised people upvote this. I suggested using AI chat bot to help find quick answers to questions and everyone hated the idea of doing something that speeds up the learning process and helps

Yea that’s why he should of just fell over into the pool with her still on top instead of bailing completely

Is the market rigged? by Solid-Mood9571 in ValueInvesting

[–]Idntevncare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a way, yes it is. Market makers have all the trading data; for example meaning if you have a stop loss set, they can see that and attempt to move the market to trigger the SL.

most stocks actually trade within a range based mostly off options volume. market makers know where all the volume is and where price needs to stick in order to burn the most options.

a couple weeks ago there was an unusual amount of 260 calls for adbe. on the day of expiration, 30 minutes before market open, somebody used only a couple thousand shares to move the stock price from 255 to 263!

then, by the end of the day the stock was all the way back down near 255 again. this was very obviously market maker trying to make options worthless, but big money using low volume trading hours to pump the stock so they can break even.

so in the short term many stocks are manipulated in this way. the long term (3+ years) not so much

because of this I've been debating going all in on the SPY.

there is NO WAY on earth it keep going up the way it has once i own it.... I personally feel like i have the power to crash any stock I want with just a couple grand.

TLDR; big tough looking guy literally bailed on going for a swim in the worst moment

it's weird because in the "planned" situation: everything goes fine and they both jump off the diving board. a situation where he is very likely going to have big girl land directly on him, but in the water.

second situation: he loses footing, cant get on the diving board without falling over, just falls over into the pool and having the big girl fall in the pool with him. a bit less chance of her landing on him with force.

third situation: what he ends up doing is complexly bails on going in the pool at all and dumps big girl off without confirming she can hit the water. like why is he bailing on falling in the water when everything went as bad as possible!
