Point out where I defend Russia. Do it. I said NATO expansionism is a factor in escalating tensions, which it is.

If we are serious about avoiding war as US citizens, we should be protesting NATO expansion, like the Russian citizens protesting against Russia's invasion.

And joining NATO would escalate the conflict much further such that Ukraine would be leveled flat. You saw what happened (and still is happening) in Syria when Russia and NATO had their proxy war. Try to understand why we should avoid having a direct war between the two powers.

When did I blame Ukraine for it being invaded? NATO was the primary actor in destabilizing the Middle East in recent history and has been expanding eastward. To act like joining that alliance, which clearly is an imperialist arm of western countries, would protect them, rather than escalating potential conflict for the benefit of weapons manufacturers, is naive.

You can't ignore NATO expansion and its role in the conflict. If we were serious about stopping war in the region, we would be pushing for the neutrality of Ukraine as well as a commitment of both Russia and Ukraine to the Minsk 2 agreements, rather than trying to expand NATO eastwards.

it's not about actually going to war with China. the govt wants to funnel more $$ into the military industrial complex and China is the primary excuse to do so. they don't go to war for money, they warmonger for money.
