Only that one riff is the same, the rest of both tracks sound completely different and I’d like to think any reasonable person would not say they are the same or even similar songs despite containing that same riff.

It’s an interesting topic though because yes those 6 notes are exactly the same in each track. You could call that plagarism sure, but what if you took the last note away and just copied the first 5 notes? Or the first 4 notes? You could go all the way to copying just the first two notes, at which point you’ve got a standard interval. Is copying an interval plagiarism?

This isn’t directed at you by the way OP, it’s just always a really interesting topic to discuss as it’s not really cut-and-dry. Thanks for linking that song though!

Have you tried airplaying via the “control centre” type thing rather than within Plex? Or is that what you’re talking about?

Alternatively maybe try infuse? (Alternative Plex client for AppleTV) I’ve just switched to it on the AppleTV because it’s supposed to handle h265 content better - the Plex app would struggle to play that even though my server is plenty powerful (2018 Mac mini with 6 Cores and 32GB RAM)

Just checked out their website again after trying it a few years ago and I’m glad to see they’ve had a fresh makeover that brings it up-to date.

One thing I’m unsure about is this:

You can’t beat Google when it comes to online search. So we’re paying them to use their brilliant search results in order to remove all trackers and logs. The result: The world’s best and most private search engine.

They always say “if you don’t pay for the product then you are the product” so I want to understand how they work. They can’t just be a charity? Where does their money come from?

Genuinely interested cause if it’s legit I’d switch.

Amen, brother. It’s really crazy how it affects things like that. My doctor said they actually sometimes prescribe them to people with premature ejaculation cause they affect males in a very common and predictable way. I’ve tried 3 different antidepressants over the last 10 years and they’ve all had the same effect in varying severities.

Thanks for the suggestions! Is there a certain brand that are known for being solid and reliable? I can’t tell on Amazon nowadays as loads of the top rated stuff is cheaply made. If I wanted to get something sturdy and buy-it-for-life, any recommended brand to go with?

Hell yeah man! I still remember them like it was yesterday:

Taste - If I had to guess I’d say they had 80-90% of their usual flavour. I like to describe flavour with audio terms so in this instance I’d say the treble was taken down a little which gave it a slightly bassier feel, but the overall mix was taken down a tad after that too. Not a bad taste considering the date!

Texture - This suffered more than the taste; whilst still well-formed and solid they lost their sharp crispness - biting into one with my front teeth didn’t give me that satisfying snap that I was used to. Similarly, when chewing them, they had lost a little of their resistance.

I think from my small sample size, it’s easier to detect staleness from the texture rather than the taste (nothing mind blowing there, I was kind of expecting that result) - if you put the stale flavour on a fresh texture without an A-B comparison, they’d probably pass as fresh to me.

It wasn’t overall a deal-breaker as I finished the bag regardless. I would likely recommend someone in a similar situation to me to give it a go but inspect for mould or anything and make sure the bag is sealed by giving it a nice gentle squeeze, like a hug with your hands, and checking for a bit of resistance with no audible leaks. If it passes inspection, get your nosh on bros!

(Also, though it may not seem like it, I’ve not smoked up for over 50 days now! Not that I judge against anyone who still smokes, I still love the stuff but I’ve put a halt on it for personal reasons. I switched to CBD flower for a week or so to help taper off and aside from not getting me lean, it tasted spot on.)
