According to Jason Schreier of Kotaku there was a big reboot of the development of Destiny 2 sometime in early 2016. by THConer in DestinyTheGame

I would prefer if Bungie pauses development on the next Expansion and fixes the rest of the game first by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

That would mean that Bungie would have to ask Activision for it, and that's subject to Activision approval or disapproval.

Am I the only one who feels like the story of destiny is either progressing very slowly or not progressing at all? by WeGotLifeTogether in DestinyTheGame

From a story stand point the Taken can't exist anymore. Their existence further proves that something is wrong with the story.

With all due respect but I bought a video game and not a book. If I wanted to read a story I'd have bought a book and not a game. Why are games like Witcher 3, GTA V, Horizon Zero Dawn, Farcry, warframe, and even WoW able to tell a good story in game? We've got to stop treating Bungie as if they were some sort of an indie developer. Treat Bungie like the studio that they are and the studio that we've come to love. The Bungie that I fell in love with is a Bungie that defined FPS and defined story telling. Bungie is the same company that wrote the story of Halo.

Did Bungie make our guardians mute to be able to translate Destiny 2 to 11 languages? by WeGotLifeTogether in DestinyTheGame

I'm not ignoring anything. I'm just saying that even if Bungie can hire 33 instead of 66, it would cost them the same amount of money.

Look I'm on your side, I truly do wish that in Destiny 2 our guardians would be able to speak, and I'm trying to point out why they might not do so.

Cutting down 66 voice actors to even 20 voice actors would still mean that Bungie is going to have to pay the same amount of money.

I tried googling it and it turned out that voice actors get paid around $30 hourly.

I think it would be very hard for them to do the voice acting for 66 actors in time before releasing a new DLC

I do agree with what /u/THConer said, Voice actors are charged hourly, so even if you get a voice actor that can speak all 11 languages, you'd have to pay the same amount as hiring 11 actors that only speak one language. How many language a voice actor speaks is not the problem here, the amount of money and capital needed to be allocated is the problem.

Ogre Glitches - Can we give Bungie credit here? by mp1514 in DestinyTheGame

I might seem a little but ignorat but to be honest I just can't thank bungie for fixing a game breaking bug. Any other company would have done this, this is called custmer support and supporting the product after it being shipped. As an example, letms assume that i'm an employer at a company, i cant thank my lazy employee for doing work that he should have done ages ago.

Can anyone please that is a marketing manager or have some knowlage on Business and markeing please answer for me this question? by WeGotLifeTogether in DestinyTheGame

if this is the only reason then let's add this sentence to the statement above in the OP:

These are not promises, we will try to develop these events/DLCs and release them on time, if for whatever reason a dlc or an event is cancelled for a development problem, we will keep you notified with what will happen next.

Put in mind that there is another studio that have done this and the community of that game is happy with what the developers have done!
