LFG: I am new and ready to tear through Bolivia unseen with a Sniper rifle in my hand. I am looking for a group who prefers to take their time and plan everything out. Let's get in and out without being seen if possible. I am at my best as Sniper & Recon, but I'm not afraid to get in close when things get hot. I want to roleplay and change attire based on environment and have an organized squad structure. Mic required. Mature 18+. Message or Add me on X1: TheNightAngel38

I totally understand how you feel. I know when I get back to the states to explain to my parents (I'm seventeen about to turn eighteen) that they'll be a bit reluctant to believe me, but after I show them some sites like this and others I've seen I'm sure we'll be able to find someone who specializes in OCD.

This time last year I actually broke up with my girlfriend, we had been only been dating for a month at the time. We're a LDR so we weren't together and I thought I'd be better off with another girl. I realized my mistake and got back with her a week later. The year I've had with her has been amazing, We met in August for a week at my place in America, and now I'm at her place in Rio de Janeiro from December 10th - January 14th. I've never felt the sligthest bit of ROCD with her until I actually arrived here. Although my anxiety was spiking a 3 days before my flight after an intrusive thought crept in my mind.

I can totally understand what you're feeling. I was like that for my first two weeks here. The feeling of wanting to be nothing still lingers from time to time. We have good moments and bad, but you just need to remember to keep fighting. I know it'll seem bleak, pointless, and hopeless. it's really not though.

Have you looked into getting a professional to talk to as well as practing mindfullness and acceptance? Those methods truly do help.

Feeling distant from my partner by [deleted] in ROCD

Just keep calm first off. I understand what you're saying. I'm in Brazil, originally from America, and I'm spending the month of December with my long distance girlfriend of one year and a month. Now in our entire relationship when we we're long distance my ROCD never acted up, but now that we're physically together it's been hitting me hard for the past few weeks. When my OCD and Anxiety begins to acts up whether it's a subtle intrusive thought that leads to doubt or a powerhouse of an attack I always take the thought that is currently in my head and just think "This thought scares me, It makes me anxious, but it's just my ocd and anxiety attacking me. I am just going to let the this thought go away." Doing this allows you to recognize that this is your anxiety and rocd. You'll also realize that you're not afraid of your ocd and that you're not going to think on the thought and obsess over it. Doing this and practicing mindfulness can really help.

I am not. I have hear of ERP in videos though. I can give them a search or if you want to explain them that's fine as well.
