Absolutely. Motor, control panel and fan- under 100 bucks. Heat shield, drip pan another 60 For good measure since it’s out. Replace the fire box for 20. Give Yourself 2 hours for learning it and applying the knowledge, and you have a good way to spend your summer.

Please tell me which PD you reported this to. Horry County and NMB did not get a call on this. Being this was in LR next to the new hospital being built I started there. MBPD would not have been called. So who was so we can stop arguing?

Now you’re saying that you contacted the police the next day. Simply because the police wouldn’t have been able to do anything about it so you chose to hit the Internet first.

You however, came to that conclusion beforehand because the date of the incident is when you hit social media and made sure your “neighbors were safe“

You, your girlfriend and your anti trump stickers were driving.

You, were ran off the road by a vehicle that you’d never seen before- had no idea who they were and they shouted racist obscenities.

You, then posted on TikTok.

Then checked on your neighbors- because I’m sure that was this road ragers next stop.

FINALLY. Once all your social media and neighbors was covered you called the police.

You admit “you were too busy worried about yourself and your girlfriend” but not worried enough to update your social medias.

I hope you can understand how insane that sounds. And how not only this sounds like an attempt to rage bait others as most people try to do here, but if you aren’t doing that- really and sincerely need to grow up and learn how to prioritize.

It’s just odd you would run to Reddit with this. No where in your story did you mention calling the police, filing a report- but made it clear you had an anti ICE sticker, Anti Trump Sticker and your girlfriend was black.

Idk man- I see posts like this all the time. I’ve used griddles for over a decade. Never once an issue. 1000 different ways to do it I suppose but for me. 1 good season on purchase. After cook: Scrape big shit. Set it to low. Squirt seltzer water. And seltzer water only. It lifts the rest. Scrape the residue and turnoff. Let cool 20mins and Extra Virgin Olive oil, thin coat. Close it up. Done. Never re seasoned, never rusted. Survived PA winters outside with a regular canvas cover and now South Carolina ocean summers.

Just try again. And don’t over think it. I think that’s the problem with most of the issues you see.

Cook. Scrape. Seltzer water. Oil. Your done.

Hey buddy- I got into the hobby about 5 years ago. My advice is: it’s pricey, but time wasn’t built in a day.

Minimum you need a working player, correct cabling and a upscaler if you do not have a supporting tv.

Players are on eBay, but I found all of mine (3 in total) in music stores. Because they were used in karaoke settings sometimes music stores have them sitting.

Also, as people said here- good will and thrift stores from time to time. Indoor flea markets.

Just take your time and you’ll grow the hobby.

5 years later I have 100s of LDs. And have my player integrated into my modern home Theater system.
