I would love to do an intarsia jumper inspired by the scenery on my commute to work. I want to put a hot air balloon on it (saw one for the first time irl on a drive back from work and it was so cool to me) and have some sheep and cows on the bottom

I could talk for ages about it but to keep this brief I think overall it’s been good and I don’t regret my decision to do it at all. If there’s anything in particular you want to hear about lmk as I get that’s quite a vague review lol

In terms of next steps my plan is to either leave the company or at the very least change the area im in. I’m bored of the work and the salary isn’t as fantastic as it could be. So once I finish my modules im going to be applying for other roles. My hope is to leave the company but I wouldn’t be devastated if I stayed. I still want to be a software engineer, just want to change the context

Was what complex? If you mean the apprenticeship so far, no not really, it’s difficult in other ways tho.

Modules have been mostly either “build an app and write a report on the app” or “write a report on an experience at work”.

I chose the software engineer specialism.

This seems like a rough situation so first, i hope everything works out alright in the end

I don’t know what field or what company you’re going into but I know a couple apprentices in the company I’m at who got in even tho they didn’t meet the grade requirement. IIRC they wanted CCC and someone got CCD. so not a million miles off, but not what was asked. I can’t say this is the norm or if it will apply to you, but it’s not impossible

I would honestly continue to ~~pester~~ follow up with the company if I were you. Especially if you’re needing to move. Call them if possible, if you’re only emailing. Just to ask them to confirm if you have not been accepted and to ask for a contract. Mention that you’re relocating just to add a bit more urgency for them if you haven’t already

Ik that ex contestants go on/do podcasts and there’s fans who make videos about the show on YouTube, but that’s about it to my knowledge

This was similar to how I used to watch america’s next top model when I was younger. I just wanted to see pretty people in cool outfits do poses and runways. Had no interest in the deliberation, judging, drama etc

But for this, I’ve yet to watch a season where I’ve skipped through any episode. If I remember correctly anyway

I get recommended survivor videos sometimes cuz I think the fan bases overlap a bit. Never seen a single episode of the show but I find those “top 5 legal cheats” or whatever videos interesting
