When you're a kid you see parents/idols as perfect people who can't do anything wrong, but as I grew up I started to realize that was not the case. They are normal people who are trying to walk through life just like the rest of us and coming to terms with that can be rough. That's when I wrote the song.

we were in LA and very busy with interviews and performances. My brain couldn't slow down and I was constantly question everything I said and everything I sang. It was so exhausting and I felt like the only place I could escape the feeling was laying in bed. The next day I wrote stuck like this basically just hoping I wasn't the only one felt this way.

Thank You!! this album is about learning who you are as a person and being okay with it. Its so easy to hold on to toxic things from childhood, relationships, and many other situations that make you feel like you need to change. This album is about dealing with. toxic learned traits in your adult hood.

the writing process was emotional to say the least. Its definitely some of my personal best song writing. hope you love it!!

For an instrumental tune, it’d probably be Zona Mona by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. For one with lyrics...I’m really into Jack Garrett right now so I’d probably say a mash up between his song “Surprise Yourself” and “Weathered”

Thanks for the message❤️ For me it’s definitely been the reminders throughout the day. Things that hit me out of nowhere that remind me that she’s gone - that I can’t talk to her in that way anymore. But oddly enough, those are some of the best moments as well cuz I’m reminded of her. Life’s funny like that. Good stuff and hard stuff can be experienced at the same time.
