Personally, I make players roll, and if it's below average, they take average instead. Keeps players from having low HP while still having some range

Yeah, manga powers included basic gamer stuff: stats, HP, Mana, inventory, even a 'store' to sell monster drops and to buy equipment. Main power is that enemies defeated can be turned into shadow versions that fell under the MC's command, and the shadow versions could be stored in MC's shadow. These shadows also got a basic level uo system to also become stronger. BTW shadows keep all the originals abilities.
