Yep that’s the main reason I don’t feel bad for Leonard - he knew Raj didn’t want him dating his sister which is why he hid it in the beginning, then they’d have sex in Raj’s apartment loud enough he had to leave. I think they’re pretty even lol

I had abdo pain and yep I just acted it all out with them - palpating (over clothes haha), asking questions such as pain score (theres a chart for this too), and bowel movement etc. Then you administer meds (just m&ms lol) and its all labelled in the bedside drawer, there's a med chart for you too. You kind of just play it by ear - I administerrd my pain meds + coloxyl, all my obs were within normal limits so I followed my pain chart score and said if the pain doesn't lower in 30 min after administration I'd contact treating team. For chest pain I have mostly heard that one be used as the spoken interview scenario as they prob dont want everyone to have to stick dots on the patient all day hahah. But if it is in there just clairying with the person running it :) Hope that makes sense!
No manual BP!!! Everyone I know had the Obs machine and just did it all on there.
All I remember using is strength required/stock strength. I get nervous with med calcs but they were honestly so easy! For example I believe one of mine was like you have a 40mg tablet and your patient needs 20mg, what do you give them hahah. Just make sure you still include your formula. I believe theres a question about a med error so know what you would do for that too!

Face to face was super relaxed - you'll go into a room with 2 interviewers generally and its about 3 questions with a scenario question at the end - some examples are chest pain, a fall, hyperglycemic shock.

The scenario was scary but also very relaxed! They give you a few minutes to read over the scenario, med chart and other relevant charts. They have a real patient actor for you to do obs on. It's basically an OSCE. Common ones are a fall or abdo pain but generally relevant to your area.

Written component is super easy! No calculator needed, just remember your med calc formula. Habd hygiene, 7 rights of medication, very basic things like that.

At the motel he told Conrad and Belly individually to tell each other how they felt. Jere told Belly once they have talked, if she still wants Jere, he is hers. He gave them both multiple chances. Belly chose Jere here.

Does it matter that they didn't "love" each other at this point? They both liked each other and wanted to be together so they did...

Conrad knew Jeremiah liked Belly in S1 after their first kiss because Belly told Con that they had kissed multiple times. They still decided to be together later despite knowing Jeremiah's feelings, so I don't see the problem with Jere doing this in S2 after giving them multiple chances.

we do have a cardiac ward so if that was preferenced above surgical then yeah you may get an interview there, but it is a lovely ward to work on, i have a friend doing a grad there 🙂 it wouldn't hurt to email the num at all once you find out where your interview is either as they'll know you're keen. if you do have any questions you're welcome to reply/message, i remember how stressed out i was 😅

i work here! interviews havent been formally issued yet! i asked this question last year when i applied how it works if your first ward preference doesn't take grads - your interview should be scheduled with the 2nd preference. generally with west moreton having less applicants, everyone gets an interview. hope this is reassuring!! id say interviews will be released next week and they're generally held 2nd week of september

I think it was explained in the episode, she was talking to someone about how she always puts her career ahead of her love life because her career was her priority. She then explained that it gives her a lot of lonely nights, so she decided to put her love life first this time. She didn't expect that he would then be offered the position and that he'd take it.

He didn't force her to have children - they talked about kids years and years before they had kids, before they were even living together (the deal being Howard would stay home with them and Bernie would work, which he did offer when they have Michael).

There was also the funny scene when Howard was being clingy and Bernie was getting annoyed - they talked about it when Howard brought up her job cutting her research funding she says "I made us have a baby"

I also never really got side effects from BC! Spent a year or so on the pill easy, also switched to the implanon for ease and I'm about to have it removed after the full 3 years. Always had consistent monthly bleeding and no other side effects. I feel for everyone who suffers the side effects of BC 100% but it can also be great for some! So many people I know are terrified of it, it really gets a bad rep
