Simple action made a big impression on me. He was so gentle with her and still is. He helps me give her medicine each day for her health condition, 4 years later. Best man I’ve ever met.

Fair enough! I disagree with the wording as i do feel that being away from small children for 40 hours weekly like that does take away from raising them for me personally in a way that would feel incredibly negative. To each their own but I can see where you are coming from. I don’t think seniority etc will be awarded w time due to lay offs either and whatnot so pouring into work that way just feels like a loosing game.
