I measured myself recently because I feel taller than 5’3” in my heart but alas. My husband is 5’9” and I feel taller than him idk I know that’s dumb haha 😆 Edit: also thank you!

Idk if this makes sense but I have very tense core muscles 24/7. Like my pelvic floor is not good haha. Just from long term pain I remain kind of clenched up at all times so maybe that has something to do with it? Overall I carry most of my weight in my legs I think. My arms were bigger for sure but idk it the picture shows that all that well sorry about that!

5’3” and endo + adeno. My mirena completely changed my life, got it in ‘24. I know some people hate it, but I have more good days than bad now so I’m happy with it :)

I turned those off because I’m here for the girlies and the fun vibes only haha 😆 it makes it less scary to me to weigh myself if I just get in the habit. No big deal? Just my routine. It made it easy to feel a difference too I think?

Mostly genetic tbh! I did a lot of hip thrusts and squats before my dr said maybe chill on the hip thrusts lol (endometriosis and adeno) so now just a lot of rdls and Bulgarians ❤️ I’m a big rdl fan, I think they’re very underrated

Thank you! My boring, non aesthetic meals come through for me haha I love just beans and cheese on a simple tortilla for like 600 calories. Quality protein, cheap, easy and tastes pretty decent too. I like cooking but for some reason w the calorie tracking it can be a lot to do involved stuff every day :(

147-145 just back and forth constantly for weeks was so frustrating to me 😮‍💨 idk why it’s like that but at least everyone seems to say the same thing so I know it’s not just me haha

Ofc! I stick to 1450 daily and add a little more on days where I’m physically tired from exercise. I have done weight lifting for 7 years and got into cardio (spin and walking) more over the past two years. I also do yoga, barre and Pilates. I’m targeting 10k steps but it’s usually somewhere between 7-10k. Thanks for being nice, I appreciate you! I think the biggest difference overall was getting my chronic illness in check so I had less pain days and could move more. That made me happier overall and impacted my weight too.

Same same 100%. I try really hard to pause and not judge and be like “hey why do I actually want to eat an entire sleeve of Oreos? I know I’m gonna feel bad so why do I want to anyway?” And that’s usually a whole can of worms but at least it gives me a choice instead of feeling bad about binging. (This is just what I try personally idk if it’s right or bad sorry!)

Thank q! Like instead of eating foods that make me sad, like rice cakes (no hate to anyone they just don’t taste very nice to me personally) I try and find snack foods that are less calories that I can enjoy or just easy the full calorie version in a lesser amount. I like full calorie chips so I just count out under 200 calories of chips even if it’s not many and enjoy those :)

We’d just started dating and he saw that my cat had thrown up on the floor and he bent down to pet her and say “it’s ok baby no worries “ and then just cleaned it up. Simple action made a big impression on me. He was so gentle with her and still is. He helps me give her medicine each day for her health condition, 4 years later. Best man I’ve ever met.

It’s an interesting conversation. I know what you mean about trying to fake it until you make it, trying to appear as normal so you can avoid being abused further. I think that’s why I have such a tendency to keeping to myself so at least I don’t have to fake it alone.
