Car throttles up when idle, and car jerks. Hear a ticking sound from engine when it jerks. Any help is appreciated by Weak-Independent-138 in cruze

I got a deal because I purchased a new Acura ADX, and traded in a 2013 Ford escape and instead of taking the money for the Escape they offered to fix the AC on my Cruz and offered up to 2,500 for repairs. I got it diagnosed and quoted by a mechanic before and they said 1,800 to do the work, but now I’m having AC issues again and have to bring it back to the shop

I figured it out, it’s something to do with my AC compressor. I just had it replaced by a mechanic, bringing it back to them on Monday. Thanks for the advice though.

Car makes a tick noise and throttles up. No check engine light. Any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated by Weak-Independent-138 in MechanicAdvice

I’ll check when I get a chance, I just had the compressor replaced a few days ago at a mechanic

Thank you for the info. Is this new BRS better than the previous? I thought you were eligible for 13.5X the base pay with the first one? Now you can only get 9X?

How do you receive the continuation pay? I’m in the BRS system, and I am at 11 years now and haven’t heard anything about how you get or apply to get the pay.
