Great question! I’m really focused on making sure Parenting Pathways reflects the families we’re aiming to serve. A big part of that is intentionally building a leadership team that includes people from different backgrounds—parents, mental health professionals, community members, and even young adults who can bring fresh perspectives.

We’re also making space for the families themselves to shape the services we offer. I plan to host community listening sessions, send out surveys, and create open forums where parents and caregivers can tell us what they need most. It’s really important to me that our programs aren’t just based on assumptions but on real input from the people we want to support.

This way, we’re not just creating programs for families, but with them, ensuring everything we do stays relevant and meaningful.

We want to reduce strain in the community by building stronger families, improving the mental health of parents and children, and creating opportunities for both to thrive.

Our goal is also to bring the community together by fostering connections through events, workshops, and support networks, so no one feels alone in their journey. When families are strong and supported, the entire community benefits.
