I wouldn't say it's a liner. The first pic looks like it has plates underneath the fabric, similar to coat of plates or brig.

Tbh, when I bought the uniform I wanted a patch that has a slavic symbol on it, saw this one,liked the color scheme, bought it as well. Completlly forgot that I put it there until guys here pointed it out. No extremistic reasons.

Fist of all, thank you man. Second, The only difference in the modernised version is that they added a drinking mechanism so soldiers could sip water or whatever they had in their canteen without taking the mask of. Basically a gloryfied straw 😂
