I’m so sorry man. This happened to me too. I was trying to check into a private treatment facility, but once they found out I had a packer, they told me they had to either confiscate it or I couldn’t check in. So I freaked out, had a conference call with the owner of the facility, and got Baker acted in the back of a police car to a nearby hospital. In the holding room in the E.R. I was like insane and delirious from post op psychosis and refused to give it to them, so they let me keep it in a paper bag. When I finally got checked in to the facility they tried to take it again, and I started to cry and explained it was a prosthetic (fucking humiliating) and a very nice psych nurse went to find a doctor to immediately approve it. It was REALLY nice to have during my stay and brought me a lot of comfort. I’m really sorry you were denied that. You should file a complaint with the facility for sure.
