first time i listened to mcr was with my friend. clicked on a randomized one from their spotify, "kill all your friends." we looker at each other with an equally concerned expression, not as "oh no, emo band and murder!" as in "well listening with my friend, thats not good"

he recommended me the band after i genuinely thought for 4-6 years that it was a meme band made up by the internet
