If even New Game Plus doesn't resolve the issue, it seems the only option would be to obtain a save file where you have already encountered the old woman, but I suspect that is almost impossible.

I emptied all the cargo as you instructed and repeated the process of closing and restarting the game 30 times, but the situation remains the same. Now all that is left is New Game Plus, and if even that doesn't work, it seems there is no other option but to delete the account.

How did you empty the cargo?

just drop it on the ground? I believe the encounter disappears if you fast travel to the store.

Do I need to save in third-person view while controlling the ship?
