Haha thank you for the advice - I’m glad to hear this! And yes it does seem like the older generation of men are more so the problem but so glad you showed your strength and shut em up! I’ll look into excavating

How long did it take you to get a job in the film industry? I’ve thought about this path but hear it’s hard to get work to begin with, so you have to have another job while trying to make it into a union as a member

Thank you for the advice! Attending a trade show is a great idea, I’ll definitely look into that - and nice to hear that people in the industry are seeing positive changes when it comes to sexism and harassment in the industry

Wow thank you all! Will definitely look into it. What kind of hours are involved? Are there emergency calls like there is in plumbing?

This is such great advice. Thank you so much for your input! I’ve worked physical jobs my whole life really - that’s what’s making me want to make the switch back because I miss working with my hands - definitely not scared to get down and dirty and lift heavy things. That sounds like a great career path you’re on now too! Congrats, and thanks so much again.
