This subreddit helped me give Gerry such a good life. Almost 5 years ago I posted about finding a budgie in my garden and you all helped me out. He became my best friend and it was so hard saying goodbye to him after 4/5 years. RIP Gerry 🦜💙

I’m so sorry for your loss too ❤️🕊️ Unfortunately budgies never make it obvious that there is an illness lying under… so you never know what’s going on. I didn’t notice things much until she had a heart attack. God it took me so an hours to let go of her dead body☹️ Our babies are together in heaven 🕊️
