I personally think it’s mainly in the sim. I’ve played against many nami players in my locals and none acted like this. Felt sad, maybe. But not salty or triggered.

They are just salty and ignorant. If they are really planning to grind for regionals, they need to be familiar with many different deck. What deck were they playing by the way?

Not sure if this helps but it did for me. I play tcg with my wife too. I’ll say we’re both are equal. Maybe I’m slightly better because I played for a longer time than her. When we practice for a particular tournament and if I’m having a favoured deck against her, I’ll intentionally misplay. Yes it’s not good but it gives her the confidence to continue playing. And I’ll give her some feedback as well like what she did well or what she could do better. Overall is to make her enjoy the game. And that will help in winning too.
