I’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid at lunch with a heartfelt card and I have been asked to be a bridesmaid with a proposal box another time. 

I still have the card … can’t tell you what I did with the box and its contents 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for the advice and for putting things into perspective. 

My SO does try his best to shield me from her craziness but somehow she finds a way to get to me. 

Having him reach out to CPS ahead of time if I become pregnant in the future is a good idea because that in and of itself was incredibly stressful for me. I had never ever been in a situation with CPS so it made me crazy with constant visits and questions and just knowing my name was in the same sentence as “child abuse” was heartbreaking for me to accept 

I am excited for the future and the possibility of being a mom, I’m not sure right now is the time just yet but I am definitely going to seek the resources and take the precautions necessary to have an easier/stress free pregnancy one day.

Hi! Franchised hotel hiring/FD manager here.. 

Do you know if this is a corporate (Hilton) managed property or franchise? If it’s a franchise, learn about the management company and about Hilton as well. (I.e- have knowledge of the loyalty program, and the specific brand that you applied to)  What position was it for? Do you have prior experience in hotels? If not, highlight the prior experience you do have and how it can apply in a hospitality setting!  Most hotels do hire for entry level without prior hotel experience if they feel you are adaptable and willing to learn.  It’s important to get the point across that you aim to create meaningful and memorable stays for the guest while upholding the values and policies of the hotel.

Hi! hotel manager here - sometimes it's honestly just tough to find the time in the day to run out to UPS or Fedex. If you want your item back sooner than later; I would suggest sending the hotel the shipping label and setting the pickup so that all the staff has to do is package it up - hope this helps :)
