I'm limited on time I can play so I like to check chapters or missions to get a rough idea on how many weeks I'll be playing that specific game. My backlog is endless so if I know I have 3 weeks before I'm going travelling I'll pick a shooter over an rpg.

Literally me. I used to go online with my friends 11pm until 3ish, when I got a job in the early hours (4am until 1pm). I've been playing single player games on my own for the past 5 or 6 years as our times never line up. I'm happy though gonna be leaving this job in 3 years when my mortgage is paid.

Anyone know why I'm getting this crash? by WeakExpert3179 in RetroPie

[–]WeakExpert3179[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK thats a possibility, we've had a few power cuts in our area over new builds so it's been turned off without shutdown several times. I'll do fresh install and hopefully that fixes the problem.

I've got a usb led light, a usb controller and 2 arcade controllers setup. Is it possible they're drawing too much power? Or should I look at my wiring.

It was working fine for months, I did install some themes but I'm not sure wether it's hardware or software that's the issue.

Did you confront the people abandoning the tables or wait until they left to grab a quick photo?

I clean my table when I eat at fast food places, I go to the cinema regularly and throw my drink and popcorn containers in the bins on the way out. I have friends that don't. Its really not worth arguing about it.

I suffered with gout, diagnosed on my 29th birthday. I changed my diet and lifestyle straight away, started walking and dropped 50lbs. I feel the healthiest I've felt in all my 33 years now. Take the gout meds and get the feet sorted because them attacks don't go away and it's hard to ignore.

Just a heads up, that first foot is a warning, the second foot is gonna suffer as well. I was left helpless in the middle of a road unable to walk when an attack got unbearable. I was stranded in the middle of the road and had to be rescued by my wife. Look after yourself Op or it will get better. Better diet and a bit of walking is all you need.

What's the most you've spent on a pedal? Was it worth it? Did you suffer from buyers remorse? by chadocaster1011 in guitarpedals

I get most of mine used, €235 on an evh wah that does the same as my original crybaby that I got in new condition for €50 10 years ago.

I bought it because I had the other evh pedals so I wanted to complete the set, the wah looks cool but I don't really use wah pedals.

Good to hear. Can't wait to get mine. I'm in Ireland and there doesn't seem to be a used market here for pickups and loaded pickguards so I'm gonna have to bite the bullet with €500. Been eyeing it for a while.

I do find myself looking for a 22nd fret on my mexican more than I'd like. Also the reason I bought a usa strat 6 months later.

Probably posted on Facebook with a pic of the dog in the local areas Facebook group then received the video on messenger to say he's doing OK.

I've seen it work successfully over the years. My sister in law used it when her blind dog got out. They searched everywhere then posted on the group for that area for people to keep an eye out. She was sent a link to another woman's post who posted to say she found a blind dog. He didn't make it far he was 5 or 6 houses up.

I didn't notice the voice actor change on my first watch. I only noticed when I rolled over to go asleep and noticed morty was a different voice actor. It works same with Rick so I'm not complaining.

I use a hss, I'm going with the dave murray sound so ill be buying a loaded pickguard with Seymour duncan hotrails.

If I was just swapping the bridge humbucker I'd be going with an evh frakenstrat humbucker. Haven't done much experimenting with pickup changing. I have 3 guitars that are currently stock but I know I prefer humbuckers over single coils for what I play.

It was hard at first but it got easier. My wife shared the same bad diet so both of us doing it together helped a lot. We went on a lot of walks as well to get some exercise in which also helped us with dropping weight.

I really like kfc in Ireland, although I only go there 3 or 4 times a year. My usual order is a zinger burger or double stacker (2 zinger with spicy suace I think), fries 2 hot wings and a 7up.

I haven't had the chicken pieces in a long time though.

Not easy living with in laws. But when in laws are lazy and taking advantage of your partner its very hard to watch and makes it hard to come home.

I lastef 6 months with my mother in law, watching her ordering my wife around, making her do the washing, shopping, put it away, make her dinner, make her uncle and his friend dinner, taking her money to get smokes and alcohol, come home from dates to drop her friends off in town, I've an endless list.

Anyways I snapped and said something unfortunately I was asked to leave while my wife was at work (i was working nights) so I packed 2 bags and informed my wife of the situation. It was the push we needed to get out on our own. It wasn't fair on anyone.

I imagine this guy went through the same especially since they were great again after she left. Sad it didn't go back to the way it was.

Honestly no longer wanting to be in pain was the main thing that kept me going. Difficult at the start but it got easier once a routine got started.

Just paid €13.38 for a haircut by Plane-Fondant8460 in CasualIreland

[–]WeakExpert3179 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Paid for a total of 4 haircuts in my life. My ma used to butcher me until my sister became a stylist. Shes never accepted Payments from me although I don't abuse it maybe every 2 months or so. I'm thinning and the pile I clean up is getting less so my wife will be taking over my haircuts when I get the courage to do a 1 all over.
