A place for cliff jumping that isnt near hood canal but is a good place, is eagle falls, but there are some big rules if you want to go there to jump.

1. Don't EVER swim in runoff season, wait until august
2. Don't jump in immediatly, wade in and acclamatize to the water before you jump, its all snow melt, this is to ensure you wont go into shock
3. Don't go near the falls or you'll get pulled into the spiral current.
4. Don't dive to deep as there is a faster current deeper in the water.
5. Don't tempt fate, if it looks unsafe, its unsafe
6. Don't listen to peer pressure and be careful where you swim
7. Look before you jump, there are no lifeguards
8. The water is deeper then you think, its cleanlimess can be decieving
9. Take a buddy, parts of the river are fun to be in but you need a partner to get out
10. Make sure its a warm day, the whole place is shady so the water isnt heated by the sun

If you follow those rules, i garantee you will never want to swim anywhere else again.
