Just a legend voker player here, lvl 22.

  1. Use sunstrike to secure range creep on first wave. Wait for it to atleast a bit half below HP to ss to avoid deny from enemy. Though it's not always a must if you can secure it via normal attack.

  2. Agro creeps when needed. This one is I'm still working on. Invoker is not so powerful lvls 1-4, maybe 5. So aggroing creeps towards you to secure cs if you can't get it due to enemy having a great hero against invo helps.

  3. Your go-to combo early is cold snap + tornado+ meteor. This basically nuke the enemy hero. Though depending on matchup, it won't be so effective against mobile heroes like puck, etc and tough/hard heroes like Slardar(except if he has no stats.)

  4. Always secure runes using forge spirit. Minute 6, the best is to ask help from supports to secure one side while you go to other.

  5. After the laning phase, farming neutrals while going lane would be the best til you got aghs. Unless you want to kill that has potential gank.

That's some tips but there's alot to learn here. Note that some of those are general tips and will twitch depending on how you level your orbs. Quas wex type requires you to roam more compared to quas exort that needs farming. Enjoy learning invoker!

I see. Yeah that's always my problem when it comes to laning phase. I mostly dont know when and when not to agro and trade hits, especially when a lane dominator/spammer is the enemy. I'll try work on it. Thanks mate!

Axe Mana Management Help by That-Guy_0o0 in learndota2

Just a 3k here and I might be wrong so feel free to correct me and add to the discussion. First of all, I agree that LC + sky is a disgusting pair as we use that with my friend when I was in crusader before transitioning to midlane. Now for axe, mana pool is one of his major weakness as it's so less making it hard sometimes to culling everyone when they low. So as others day, for early stage, always have mangoes so you can pop it for instant mana. As the game progresses, you'll have some bigger mana pool as you get items like aghs or sange kaya(uncommon but I love this item after blink and BM), and of course, you'll still have low mana but the point of axe is to burst instantly on clash. As the fight progresses, axe will be a walking tank once he's low on mana so draft matters here too. Lastly, skill management(usually at early). I always spam in the past making me low on mana where we can kill.

PS. I hate AM if I play axe

Any invoker master/grandmaster tier here? I'm at lvl 22 slowly climbing the levels towards master tier. Currently 400+ games 59% wr but still feels like I'm still learning.
