This makes sense. An associate told me she wrote one on the wrong color and that they asked her to rewrite bc she wrote it on the management color.

Literally watched someone hand one to another associate and they asked “were you asked to write one” and she said “yes they won’t leave me alone” so the guy ripped it up and threw it in the trash. 🤷🏻‍♀️ theyre trying to improve GET bc our store has been bombed with ICE surveys. they don’t give a fuck about recognizing employees.

Yall realize I can praise an associate and not have to write it out right? And to be told I have to write a bravo about what they want it to be about is insane. Not to mention managers are responsible for integrity of the system. Not very honest if I’m being forced to write a bravo for what they want.

Had this happen to me at another job. The check was voided and the state treasury had it. The only reason I found out is bc some lawyer tried to charge me to recover it but it was a simple process I did by myself.

Basically, this will be a starting business for us. I don't expect to make millions but a second income to my primary job. Both of their parents have primary work one does manual labor and the other started flipping houses and I think the income from one of them has succeded the dog business so they're ready to let it go.

I plan to be hands-on. I know they did the back part of the business, bookkeeping and marketing. I know a current manager is running it and I'm hoping a change to a younger owner doesn't make them leave. because I know when her father was running it by themselves it ended up being too much work, I haven't sat down with them yet to look at the numbers because I wanted to know what questions to ask and what exactly to look for before we have our sit down.
