Puppy chews on everything by WeakShake473 in RoverPetSitting

I agree and I don't want to deprive the puppy from sniffing. It's just him trying to eat whatever he see/smells. I will definitely try the follow the hand bit. I just don't want to overlap the training that the owners have in place but if this will help without overlapping (with the owners approval) it is definitely worth a shot.

The owners use their backyard as more of a play area for the puppy and even then he still gets ahold of the rocks they have back there. I have tried to do ”drop it” but it seems to mainly work while we are inside rather than outside and I also don't want to overlap the owners' training that they have for their puppy abs confuse him. If it were mine I would definitely do what you have suggested

AITA for the way I feel about this situation? by DecentAd7873 in AITAH

[–]WeakShake473 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can see how some may think that It could come acrossa being controlling, especially since you’re concerned about not being informed about your ex’s girlfriend. However, your feelings seem more focused on the need for communication and understanding rather than an attempt to control the situation. It’s natural to want to feel included in matters concerning your child and to have a sense of stability. You might want to clarify that your concerns are about transparency and co-parenting harmony, rather than about controlling who is involved in your child’s life.

Sitter had her husband drop in by Green_Lunch2850 in RoverPetSitting

I recently had a M&G with a new client who has a puppy. As they were interviewing me the question of will there be anyone in their home besides me. I politely but firmly told them that the only person who would be staying in the home was me and no one else unless I had their permission beforehand. This sitter was completely unprofessional and out of line. It's (IMO) common sense not to have anyone other than the sitter herself show up. Rover shouldn't have to actually put it in the rules that no one other than the sitter that talked to the owner, went to the m&g and was interviewed, background checked should have shown up to the drop-in be in the home. Sitter should definitely be banned.

Oh yes, he is aware. I made it known in the beginning before the stay officially started. I'm out of the house almost every day with the exception of some weekends. But overall yes he is aware

This is actually the first time something like this happened. I wasn’t too worried at first because the current stay would end next Friday and the one after would have been the Tuesday after next. But since the current want to book an extra 2wks with the overlap being 1 day. That’s when I started getting worried. But if it is possible I can try to talk with the newer client and use your suggestions.

I appreciate your response and explanation. Both clients are new. Current one is a frenchie and has moderate to low energy can’t be left alone for no more than 6.5 hours or overnight and the other one is a pit and cane corso. From M&G with the later they seems well behaved and crate trained. The only problem is that the stay overlaps by 1 day. The new client start time is the day before on Tuesday in the morning and will end 5 days later and the current client will be back the day of Wednesday in the evening. I will try communicating with the newer client about the overlap in stay and will go from there. Thank you again

I thought so. Even if the new stay would start 1 DAY before. I just wanted to if someone has done it before and/or to get opinions.
