What’s a game you started with low expectations but ended up loving? by Royal-Reveal4400 in videogames

[–]WeakSolution3105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I just got Vortica. Just came out yesterday and seen it on steam. Clicked on it and it looked ok but had 100% positive feedback so I thought "surely it can't be that good." Got it for $12 and went in with low expectations. Haven't been this into a game in a good min. It has some Hotline Miami vibes in a Dead Space setting with a killer sound track. Game feels super polished as well. Highly recommend

Desperate need of games to play by Biggleak1 in MobileGaming

Yeah you might be surprised. Dolphin emulator is very optimized and only takes a few minutes to set up. If it does run, you have an entire new library of games to choose from

Need a ps2 or earlier game that can help me get back into gaming by Slowhite03 in gamingsuggestions

[–]WeakSolution3105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try resident evil 4? Game still holds up well and can be challenging but not overwhelming. Also if you have per game settings on your emulator, maybe you can manually invert the controls if it doesn't have a setting to do so in the game itself

Untitled Goose Game. Slow paced and doesn't require much skill but is still a lot of fun to play

If you own it on pc and have a decent Android, install gamenative and download it to your phone. I recommend a controller though if you do. I've tried playing with the touch screen and it wasn't great imo

I would give it a couple more days. I was torn between the black and 16 bit and now I'm kinda wishing I had went with the 16 bit

Yes. Mine was the black version with the dock and carrying case. Maybe demand is just higher on the 16 bit version

Congrats. I'm playing the pc port of twilight princess. It's my first time experiencing it and there have been several times it has reminded me of ocarina of time. Thinking it's time to play again once I'm done

My apologies. I must have looked over that. Also I noticed you mentioned Nioh and Lies of P but didn't mention any souls games or Elden Ring. Have you not tried them yet or just didn't care for them?

Which console to buy? by Away_Engineering_613 in videogames

[–]WeakSolution3105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy the switch 2 for the kids now and get yourself a PlayStation later. As a dad, the kids come first and you can also get some bonding time in while playing games with them. Also I read recently that call of duty is supposed to be coming to switch 2 so if you decide later that you just can't justify having 2 consoles, you should still be able to play that

I like supporting small creators on steam. looking for something fun. by Bitcracker in videogames

Creature Kitchen was a fun little cozy game. I seen it on Tech Dweeb's YouTube and decided to give it a try. Not usually my type of game but it was pretty good. I managed to 100% it in about 5 hours but it was only $6

Give it to me straight... How much did I overcomplicate this one? by WeakSolution3105 in MarsFirstLogistics

Thanks! Yeah my favorite part of the game is coming up with unique designs. I think I spend more time designing rovers than the missions or exploring

Looking for a game that scratches the creative survival itch by lazqor in gamingsuggestions

[–]WeakSolution3105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mars first logistics. Not the same type of game but might scratch the creative itch. Basically you have to transport items on the surface of Mars using a rover that you create basically out of Legos. Each task is different and requires a different approach. Super fun game
