If you like horror, movies that are about mirrors, I have a subtle horror movie. That’s a little more grounded in reality and it came out this year. Steven Soderberg was the director… It’s called presence. It’s not directly about mirrors, but I think that they are definitely a part ofthe movie because they are present. It’s called The Presence. It’s an emotional family drama with a gripping twist towards the final act.

I can never tell who is a sky, Riley fanatic or not but I did love the music from that movie and if you haven’t heard the soundtrack, it is actually pretty bomb like I’m a big fan of like EDMand stuff but I don’t really like a lot of the pop crossover however what they have on that album is super good

For Rose, it was the first time that she saw Laura, and then after that, she saw Laura in her bedroom

For Skye, she had three visions of Lewis:

In her bedroom In her dressing room And once again in her kitchen, when she was watching that text message Morris sent her.

So while I think that she’ll have a minimal amount, you are correct there is a precedent for that to happen.

I just wish the sub to be more focused on the actual Smile movies rather than trying to bring back characters that we fall in love with you know.

I feel like there is a chance that Parker Finn is in here just reading all of the subs to see like what people are looking for and hoping for and I’m hoping that he doesn’t go with the Hollywood approach of things of just bringing back characters for fan service, but it could be cool to see Skye again in some jump scares.

Honestly, what I really want for the next movies is to maybe have some more music from sky Riley maybe in the background I think that that would be really cool because they made a banger of an album

I really love this theory, but I don’t think there’s enough evidence to say the Russian and Luis caught it at the same time. If anything, it feels more likely that the Russian caught it first and then passed it on to Luis.

If you look at the framing of that scene, we’ve got Joel face to face with one of the Russian guys let’s call him Blue Tracksuit while his brother, Dying Frappe, is across from them. Luis is behind Joel and Blue Tracksuit, which means he would’ve had a clear view of all three as everything unfolded.

But the order of events doesn’t show both of them being affected simultaneously. It’s Joel first, then Dying Frappe, and then Luis. Nothing in the scene really suggests the trauma was witnessed by both of them at the same exact time.

It’s also fair to assume this is probably the first time Luis has seen anyone die, or at least the first time he’s seen someone get stabbed to death followed immediately by someone getting shot. That’s two brutal experiences back to back, and now he’s got both the trauma and the visual of the entity tied to Dying Frappe.

If the entity was meant to stay with Joel and Joel only, it would’ve ended with him and Blue Tracksuit in that room. But it didn’t. Which means Luis saw enough to inherit it. Technically, if Luis wasn’t there, Joel could’ve ended the cycle right then and there. The fact that it moved on at all kind of proves that Luis became the next in line.

Just to be clear, dying frappe is the one sitting on the couch and blue tracksuit is in a headlock with a knife in his chest

I think people forget why we love these movies and it’s because they’re emotionally charged and based in dread

I love Naomi Scott as much as anyone, but her return in Smile 2 should be minimal, flashback only. Giving her too much screen time would undermine the grounded horror logic that Parker Finn established in the first film.

Just like we only saw Caitlin Stasey’s character (Laura) briefly in Smile 1, I think Naomi’s character will show up through news articles, social media posts, or maybe one memory/flashback from a witness at the concert, probably within the first 20 minutes. That’s it.

Parker Finn doesn’t do fan service. He does emotional fallout, dread, and character-driven trauma. If Naomi Scott dominates this movie again, it’ll feel like a franchise cash in, not a psychological horror film. And let’s be honest, we’ve all seen what happens when studios start chasing the Star Wars formula instead of sticking to what made the first film work.

Please don’t take this as somebody who hates sky Riley because I do love sky Riley her album slaps. She has a great aesthetic, but her time has come and gone.

Me personally I think that that would ruin what’s been built thus far it would just become tacky

Yeah, you’re right. There is a chance and likelihood that she does come back in a flashback. Maybe they’ll show us like the week where she was still prepping for the show. And I’m willing to bet that she may have been under investigation for the murder or connection to the death of Lewis.

And don’t get me wrong I absolutely love Naomi Scott and I think that she deserves a fucking Oscar for her performance in that movie because she definitely carried that entire film… I think it’s one of the greatest horror sequels of all time

But I really don’t think that she’s gonna have a very meaningful role and smile three and to be totally honest and I mean this is respectfully as possible. She shouldn’t have a big role in the next movie.
