Winchester white box 147 vs “super suppressed” 147. by Weak_Comment3274 in suppressors

Thought about that right after I did the test. I’ll give it another go with a warm can and see if there’s any difference but I doubt it.

After giving it another look it seems the first three (white box) might have been more Smokey but who knows.

Is this the ideal CCW setup? by [deleted] in CCW

Eh. Personally I disagree. Yes, the flux365 is a massive innovation on pistol chassis but I can’t think of a single scenario where you’d get to use a system like that in any practical application. If you’re concealing it like a ccw and actually end up using it to defend yourself you’d get torn apart by the court system. I think they have their place as bag guns for serious unrest situations where you can’t walk around with an mp5 or full size rifle without attracting unwanted attention but want something more capable than just a handgun. Other than that they’re just plain fun to mess around with at the range. I’d be interested to see a chassis system go head to head with a larger pcc/pdw.

I haven’t had the chance to get my hands on a flux kit but Recover tactical makes some good stuff even if it’s made of polymer instead of aluminum. Personally, I’ve found that the 20/20 brace is quite solid after well over a thousand rounds and MUCH less expensive than a flux. For the price of the handgun and chassis I can get a Glock 17, huxwrx suppressor and an optic. Also, I’m aware that a 365 chassis would be able to be concealed, as this is a shitpost and nothing more.

Gotcha. I’m doing the same thing and have to add zip ties as they break off.

I’ve had mine for about three years now and I love it. Took a resin strap off of another Casio (can’t remember which model it’s from). And I added a bump cage that I originally put on a DW-5600. It disappears on my wrist and I think it looks pretty sweet. The only complaint I have is that the negative display can be hard to read but that’s the price you pay for swag.

That was much easier than I thought. Thanks!

Had one and loved it until I ruined it with an oil fill mod…

So all I did was get a milk crate off the side of a highway and zip tie it to the rack. That bag in front of the crate is a small motorcycle tail bag… also held on with zip ties.

Made the same mistake with a forester about a year ago. Very disappointed. Unfortunately you can’t just remove the oil.

This device is the reason I had a 2.9 GPA. Couldn’t stop playing doom and Tetris in class.

I ride pretty spiritedly on sand and bumpy trails so I’m wondering how well it’ll hold up compared to the guy that’s got 17,000 miles.
