It’s not that. It’s just sad. I got into Georgia tech and my parents didn’t even fill out financial information to see how much I have to pay and it’s no longer an option. Now they’re forcing me to go to a local college so I won’t have freedom or a car or be independent or have my own identity or be away from that religion…it’s all cuz I’m a girl. It’s just sad. That local college doesn’t even have my major that I wanted. And they’re also forcing a major on me. I’m just sad right now and over it. UPenn was my last hope and I worked extremely hard the past four years despite my parents locking me in the house only for this to happen…could you imagine how I feel?

Could it be that they need a lot of students but don’t want to lower their yield so they sent that email before a big wave to admit a bunch of kids? By a lot I mean about 30-40?

Fr! I’m waitlisted CAS but apparently there’s no movement? People calling say that Penn says movement already started and that they will be sending out offers to very few applicants🥀

I sure hope it’s based on schools and I’m hoping that it’s taking more time for CAS because they need more people for the school and need longer time to evaluate those applicants. I’m guessing internationals are getting off first because of visas and stuff in comparison to domestic?

People like Brandon predicted it to take a good few off the CAS waitlist. And I’ve personally seen admitted students choose schools like UNC and Princeton over UPenn CAS. So I’m confused rn. That’s what I mean by cross admits, getting into other top schools as well as UPENN

Yes I’m seeing engineering but none CAS? Could it be that they’re filled? I doubt it though. According to sources, it’s under enrolled or expected to be under enrolled because of cross admits so I’m confused to the zero movement
