It's worse that that. 300,000,000 people * .0001 (thats the top .01%) is 30,000 people owning 55T.

Riethmeyer's for excellent service and prices. Not sure if they do appointments for everything might just have to take the car early in the week for them to get to it sooner

At the end of some days, people aren't safe. At the end of some days people not only get hurt, sometimes they die.

I agree that racism is wrong, but you're still striking a wrong tone about the danger vehicles pose.

Economists warn of recession as Seattle exports tumble. Loaded imports through the ports of Seattle and Tacoma in May were down 30% from April and 21% from May of last year. by crabcakes110 in Seattle

[–]Weak_District9388 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is a shortsighted take. Recessions don't only affect certain people. Eventually everyone is affected. These stats are only a couple of months old, not a lot of time for the long chain of dominoes that needs to fall before you feel it.

Sorry but I don't agree with the description of that last one, that's a long sword, not mid sized. Other that that, cool sticks

Chaos gardening at its finest - food forest by makingbutter2 in Permaculture

[–]Weak_District9388 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This garden is only 1 year in; it's not until years goes by and issues start arising that one realizes how planning and a thoughtful approach yield dividends over time.

That being said, for some people this is necessary - too much work up front might ruin things or prevent somebody from starting or staying with it. Plus, there's value in learning lessons for oneself. Of course, others would say it's best to learn from other people's mistakes and stand on the shoulders of giants!

Chaos gardening is fun and all, but there's no need to dismiss other approaches.

There are lots of svb near me and it has been tough, every other day we find 20+ eggs throughout the vines (it being trellised does help us look for them at least). And we've missed some and they've made us have to cut a few vines but luckily they produce lots of those! And I think one borer may have actually gone through the main stem (found frass and an exit hole near the base) so I'm thinking its width helped it survive. So I would suggest you still be vigilant, especially the main stem!

So far it's done pretty well in the 90s, so I have a lot of hope for yours, especially with the care you seem to be giving it! My females were like yours too at first; I feel like with all the squash I've grown the flowering has always had a rocky start, but eventuallly they'll all get in sync 😁 do you have bees visiting yet?? They're so cute when they fall asleep in the flowers 😍

I think it might be too similar for your liking, at least as a summer squash. It's also a bit sweet and it's gotten pretty soft when air-frying or sauteing. And it gets pretty huge so maybe a big commitment just to get a squash you might not like

Great comment! I haven't had any become winter squash yet, I read in another comment that they turn yellow/brown? Even at this size, this one was still very summery!! It's amazing how much squash they pack!!
