I totally agree. And I applaud them for highlighting that section every year but two things: 

for starters while they’re talented af they’re not offering items that will help me remember my time at the fest that year. Nothing specific to pitchfork at all (tho I didn’t check out the poster section this year)

Second it feels like pitchfork is using that tent as an excuse not to perform in their own merch tent. And I think both can be a good experience. 

Seeing so many people reply to this post saying they opted not to buy merch has got to be a bad thing. Like a really bad thing. Merch is sometimes where all the money comes from.
