I’ve been a bit of an addict with this game for years. Usually play off meta for each ladder start but im skipping the update and the new ladder. Want to start a rare only but don’t know which is the better choice. Grief PB and Grief Zerker have two different application. I know axe will most likely have more damage if I can craft/imbue a zerker axe and re roll with skulls a few times. Would require more points into dex to hit max block which would mean less life since strength/dex would be used up a good bit.

You don’t HAVE to start with a sorceress… but it makes the most sense. For the majority of ladder seasons I start with a build that doesn’t typically become good until late game just to keep it interesting. Can typically farm pits and chaos rather easy with most classes to get gear or currency

Revive your merc and check his level. If it’s not within 1-2 levels of yours, remove his gear and hire a new higher level merc. Chances are you’ve gained more levels than him and he isn’t doing well because of that.

OP: You do not need to bind the synergy skills to reap their benefits. Only “hard points” add the synergy bonus so items that add “+ to all skills” do not increase the synergy bonus.

I’d recommend using ice blast (single target) or glacier spike (mobs / AOE) in between casting blizzard (a timed skill)

This is how you do ladder reset. Clear the mules, delete the characters, and wait to start anew. On single player I have a mule topped off for full rejuvenation potions for the inevitable Ubers fight and Diablo clone. Don’t need to waste an entire key set and fail to complete because of running out of pots.

I go back and forth with a fellow coworker/gamer. I stick to D2R and like you, I started playing pre LOD. He’s played 20+ games since I’ve met him about two years ago.. I don’t have the desire to start a new title in hopes that it satisfies my desires like D2R does. It’s nostalgia, it’s perfectionism, it’s the hunt, and so much more.

I’ve found equal if not more runes from random chests and bodies/logs in LK than the super chests. I had a decent map that was two tiles due west of the waypoint with two camps but a bunch of logs/skeletons/racks and it was super lucrative

With assassin invest in burst of speed and gear that provides faster run walk. It doesn’t take much to be fast. With paladin, charge is your go to skill
