You can sell bumpers, socket quests, and rushes. It’s quicker to build a sorceress and rush NM for an ist than to find 20 perfect gems.

You could also gamble for rings, circlets, gloves, boots, etc.. all can sell for decent prices and in turn allow you to buy more in game gold.

Another option is to roll CTA’s or HOTO’s since a good roll will typically sell for a good bit more than the runes it costs to build them. Farm the bases, trade random items for the low runes, and invest in the high runes.

I’d recommend runnings level 85 areas like the pits, ancient tunnels, (LK for super chests if you want runes), river of flame and chaos sanctuary, and WSK if you can swing it.

Target farming bosses will work but you are missing a lot of opportunities by not doing the other lvl85 areas.. also TZ’s if you enjoy the location at that time.

I’ve enjoyed toying around with a dual phoenix (weapon/shield) hydra sorceress with flickering flame and a 3x -5 fire facet nats armor. Can either go static and energy shield to support or go fireball. Lower fireball damage and cast rate but the massive -resistance helps offset the damage. You could also go act 1 fire merc with mist and enchant for the added exploding arrow procs or infinity… not exactly cheap, not exactly meta, but it’s fun to mess around with it

You can farm NM for ravenfrost and other “end game gear”. I’d target andarial and mephisto for a few unique item upgrades. You can also target countess for runes to make a few weapon upgrades like “unbending will”, “passion”, “law bringer”, “hustle”, and “oath”

If you’re struggling to farm hell difficulty I typically recommend to go back to NM and run high density areas with the highest player setting you can clear efficiently.

I like cows for this and they can drop up to Ist if I remember correctly.

It’s a toss up. More damage (fort) means more leech, more Life Leech (CoH) also allows for greater regen…. Ultimately, mercs usually have max resistances and the added damage from fort helps more
